Hi. When Glaceon GX was first announced I wanted to build a Glaceon GX tool box that disrupts, and spreads to give your opponent a hard time. This deck is mostly for fun and I probably would not play this competitively.
So HERE WE GOOO!!!!
Pokemon: 10
4x Glaceon GX (UP)
2x leafeon GX (UP)
4x eevee (SM)
Trainers: 36
3x N (FC)
2x Cynthia (UP) (shuffle hand into deck draw 6)
2x Team flare grunt (GEN)
2x Plumeria (BUS)
2x Guzma (BUS)
1x delinquent (BP)
1x Acerola (BUS)
4x nest ball (SM)
2x Enhanced hammer (GR)
3x aqua patch (GR)
4x puzzle of time (BP)
1x Field blower (GR)
2x rescue stretcher (GR)
2x Professor's letter (BT)
3x Choice band (GR)
2x parallel city (BT)
Energy: 14
4x Double Colorless Energy
8x water energy
2x grass energy
Glaceon GX:
Glaceon GX is one of the best cards that is coming out in the new ultra prism set.
It has the ability that say when Glaceon GX is in the active your opponent's EX and GX Pokemon have no ability's. This is really good for stopping your opponent's Zoroark GX, Decideye GX, Lycanroc GX, Gardavoer GX, and the list goes on.
Its attack does 90 to the active and 30 to a benched Pokemon. this is good for spread damage witch is why we play a tapu koko promo.
Cost: (W)(C)(C)
It's GX attack does 50x the amount of damage counters on your opponents active Pokemon.
Cost: (W)(C)(C)
In this deck we are using this card to disrupt our opponent and spread at the same time.
Leafeon GX:
I play a leafeon GX because its ability heals 50 from a Pokemon with an energy attached to it. This helps heal our Glaceon GX without max potion because its attack costs a water and DCE. Leafeon can also help against all the new steel stuff coming out in Ultra Prism and can 2 shot thing if needed/Leafeon is the backup attacker.
Professor's letter:
I play professor's letter to help get the needed Basic energy for our Eeveelutions to be able to energy evolution for a turn one EX and GX ability lock so your opponent can't play any tapu lele GX from your hand.
Keeping Ability lock for EX and GX Pokemon:
You have to to be a skilled player to play around the Guzma out of ability lock. How I would do this is by only having Glaceons in play. If you don't NEED ability lock you can use tapu koko promos and your leafeons to crush your opponent.
Win conditions:
How this deck would work in theory is you would run your opponent out of energy, then make sure they cant do any thing, then win with prize taking.
This deck is untested but I think it could be fun in the future when Ultra Prism comes out but, with all the metal coming out I am not convinced that this will be that good, I just wanted to build a fun deck list with Glaceon GX to dirupt my opponent.
Tell me what you guys think of this deck list any advice is welcome (except for the rude kind)
