BW/BW2 Question about Importing

Region lock, is it on, or off. Some say its on due to the game code being DSi, so if you play it on DSi, your locked out, but if you play it on DS or DSLite your okay, can anyone confirm or deconfirm this? If its true, that'd suck...
 
You can still play imported games on your DSi, DS, DSi XL and DS Lite. All DS models are region-lock free.
 
Region lock ON! The DSi-exclusive content makes the games unplayable on DSi systems of other regions.
Which is great.

I've heard they'll still work on DS and DS Lites, though.
Then again, the DSi's are waaay better. Waiting proves to be the best action once again~

Hrm. I guess it's the fact that I've never actually used any of the DSi only features on mine that keep mine able to play my imports.
Ignore my first post in that case. :p
 
I hope the dsi features aren't too amazing...it's hard to think what they might be though. Put your face on a pokemon? XD

I'm not intending to get one (I still have my old chunky ds, done me over five years now)

Waiting for the 3ds :D
