Ruling question about level x's

Whats up guys.

I have 3 darkrai x's, and i wasn't sure if i would be able to put all of them in my deck. Obviously i would be putting 3 or 4 basic darkrai's in as well.

Hit me up with the ruling, or any thoughts about it and reasoning why.

Thanks

A LvX counts as a Pokemon of the same name. So using 3 Darkrai LvXs is possible, but then you could only use one Basic Darkrai. The usual lines for a LvX are 3 Basic and one LvX, or 2 Basic and 2 LvX. You CANNOT use 3 Darkrai LvX AND 3 Basic Darkrai.

Hope it helps.

since the lvl doesn't count as a part of the name, you could only have up to four of a combination of darkrai and darkrai lv x. I run in my dark deck 2 lv x and 2 regular Darkrai

I sugest runing a line 3-1, with premier ball. Welcome to pokebeach!

Tried it.. it doesn't work in some cases lol. Especially if it's your main attacker.

I used to run 2-2 Darkrai (2 GE). Then I took out 1 and put in 1 Darkrai (MD) for it's Pokepower affect for a fast kill. And I found that if you run 3-1, it's not that consistent. Although you can recycle your Lv. X from the Discard Pile.. it makes no use if Darkrai is your main attacker and he ends up in your Prize Cards. Then what? You can still put them to sleep, but still, the chances of staying asleep with only 1 roll or flip are very slim. The opponent can wake up Easily.. and 80 Hp is not that much especially when facing Gallade. I really suggest running 2-2. That's just my opinion.

2-2 or 3-1 really depends on the deck.

Consider that 2-2 runs the risk of having both non-LvX cards prized (making the LvXs useless). Something to think about if the LvX is your main attacker. In these cases 3-1 plus Premier Ball works better.

Other decks, like Arithmetic, will run 2-2, but there the LvXs are not absolutely critical to its success, although they greatly amplify the deck's abilities if both are in play. In these cases 2-2 is better.

SO...as darkrai lvx pokepower do not stack....and uses the lvx as main attacker due to its incredible attack....i sugest 3-1 premier bal :p
