Question about Nationals

Do you have to top or win a smaller scale tournament to be able to attend Nationals in the U.S.? Sorry for the question, but I'm just getting in the game.

I am not to sure but someone told me that you do. Just to be positive why don't you find a league in your area and ask some of the people who attend it. What I am wondering is if you need to rank well or win a small scale tournament to be able to go to the state tournament.

States you can go no matter what. Same with Regionals. Nationals I think you can go, but I'm not positive.

Thanks dude that really helped.

This is what you need to get to NATS:

-NATS in the US is hosted in a large game fair called the ORGINS GAME FAIR. This game fair requires a ticket, which costs $30 for SAT/SUN of the NATS week, and $60 for WED-SUN of NATS week.

-If you win states or place 2nd, you get a free ticket ($60 value) to orgins, which gets you into Nats.

-You really only need to get to Nats, pay for a ticket, and register a deck to play, which I did last year. It is easy. Preorder your ticket. It will guarentee a spot for you.

Hope I helped. PS: Same with Regionals, States, NATS, and Worlds...except worlds you need to get in by placing high at NATS, get an invitation by high K points, or get high in grinders; the last chance to get into worlds.
