C Clmnt_86 Aspiring Trainer Member May 19, 2008 #2 Since Leafion LV.X attack is based on energy in play in your own field, as long as the grass energy is attached to a grass type pokemon, then the answer is yes. each grass energy give a boost of 20 instead of 10.
