Ruling "Question about starter decks" OR "Which is cheaper?"

Hello, I am not fully sure this is the right place, but it seemed a better option than the others, if this is in the wrong place, I am sorry, and ask that you please move it to the proper place, or tell me so that I may repost it there.

I am a very casual player, I don't play to win, I play to have fun.
this also means I do not buy many booster packs or things until mine get out of date, or if theres a card I like, ect.

because of this, my whole trainer engine is going to go out, the only in trainers I will have to my name will be a pokedex, several quick balls, some poke balls, a moms kindness, two rivals, and a fossil excavator.

So I need some trainers, fast.

I heard that some of the newer starter decks have some decent trainers in them, but I cannot find a deck list for any of them. the section on pokebeach is un-clickable, just in case you did not realize, so please don't tell me to go there.


So I am in need of a pretty fair amount of assistance, here are my exact questions.

1)Does anybody have a link to what cards are in the newer starter sets, OR. Can anybody tell me what trainers are in what set

2)Would it just be cheaper to buy lots of booster packs of certain sets (also note that as a casual player, I don't have lots of energy cards, some I don't have would be nice, but not required)

3)If yes, what booster packs do you suggest in what order.

note that I am not a millionaire, and I'm just looking for the cheaper choice at the moment, not the most effective, thats for later.

The current format is HP-on and there are many trainers from different sets that are legal. You can see those trainer cards for each set by going to the Card Scans at the PokeBeach Home Page and click EX Series and Diamond and Pearl Series...

Not really but you may get better cards in boosters compare to the decks though...

Majestic Dawn -> Secret Wonders -> Great Encounters -> Mysterious Treasures -> Diamond and Pearl

near the bottom of the page is the link to other decks. i suggested getting decks from great encounters or secret wonders. they have the best trainers.
 
Powerhouse is a good starter deck to get if you are getting back into the game. You get 2 Roseanne's Research, 2 POV, and 3 Stantler.
