Ruling Question on Sharpedo-EX

While my gut is saying no I wont be able to use the attack, I wanted to ask this for verification. So say your opponent has Sigilyph in the active slot

and I have Sharpedo-Ex in the active slot.

What I'm wondering is that does Sigilyph's Safeguard prevent Sharpedo from using its Hunt attack since its grabbing something from the bench to attack?

If Sigilyph is active then Hunt attack will work. Ylu are targeting the benched pokemon, not sigilyph
