Ruling Question on the Energy on pokemon atks~!

I have a question about this following two pokemon atks:
Celebi(delta species)(CG) - Leaf Shade
Exeggutor(FireRed&LeafGreen) - Big Eggsplosion

the atk says on Big Eggsplosion that for each energy attached, does 40dmg for each head. i dun really understand the each energy part, is it 1 flip of coin for each energy card or for each energy(Double colorless/Double rainbow = 2 flips?) it has?

and same for the Leaf Shade is it 1 dmg counter for each energy card or will it be like 2 dmg counters for a double colorless attached to it?
i rem there is still other pokemon with skills on this energy thingy but can't rem which...

really need help on this thx^^
 
You count the number of Energy attached, not Energy cards.

So if you had a Psychic Energy and three DCE attached to Exeggutor, you would flip seven coins; one for the Psychic Energy, and six for the DCE (because each DCE provides 2 Energy).

Celebi * is no different. If you had a Grass Energy and three DCE attached to it, you would get to put 7 damage counters on anyone you want.
