So, yeah I know only certain cards can be used or whatevah, but can you put old Energy cards in your deck? Like energys from the first original pokemon card series?

(Including Dark and Metal Energy)

You can use old Basic energy.

You can use old special energy only if it has been reprinted in a set allowed in the current format, and you must play it according to the most recent reprint (for example, [D] energy only giving attack bonus to [D] and dark Pokemon).
