1.) what are the limits in pokemon TCG, is there a rule like the card restriction or card limit?

2.) can i put darkness and metal energy cards from DP sets to any of the past sets like crystal guardians theme decks or any other deck in the past theme deck releases?

3.) the weakness and resistance in the past sets are x2 and -30 right?
fire is weak against water so if i use water type to the fire type with a base damage of 40, it will turn into 80 right? and when one of the card has a water resistance it will be reduced by 30 right?

but in pokemon DP TCG, the weakness and resistance are now in a specific damage and damage reduction... an additional 20 damage or a specific addition to the base damage is now printed on the card... i'm confused about these things...

if i use the old-school deck from the past sets like power keepers and below to fight with the much stronger set of DP, my deck is in trouble when i met my weakness and his/her resistance... coz of the limitations in weakness and resistance in his/her deck and in my deck...

4.) confused pokemon can retreat or not?
if they try to retreat, do they need to yoss a coin in addition to their retreat cost?

last question..
the grass type cards have fire weaknesses right?
so when i used chikorita or bulbasaur to battle with the fire type arbok of another set, the damage will be doubled due to weakness right?

please answer my questions, i'm not sure about these things...

1. 60 card deck, 4 of one card, unless it's a basic energy.
2. You can do whatever you like with whatever card you have as long as they're all HP-on.
3. Well, you follow as printed. DP cards get + whatever, -20. EX cards get x2 or -30. You'll have to find a way to compensate for the compesation (uh...) of extra damage.

Or maybe in another way, you have to counter the fact that DP cards are stronger with the +30 rather than the x2. Mind you, x2 sometimes is better, as someone pointed out.

4. Retreat is unhindered.

5. It's fire, isn't it? Fire means weakness, weakness means +10/x2. Don't worry about how the type is different, just go with the flow. Or some othe cliché'd saying.

Just to add some facts.
1. A Pokemon * Is only limited to one (1) in a deck.
5. Not all grass Pokemon is weak to fire. And not all weaknesses in the current format are multipliers. The following of which are present, +10, +20+, +30, +40 and X2.
