1. Dive returning as an HM in BW, B2W2
Whirlpool didn't come back in DPt (they can change any HM for any game), and even if it had that would not have been a reason to think GS remakes were coming.
They used Dive because they included an underwater temple, not the other way around.
NachoMan said:
2. The underwater temple is a hint. Just like the Sealed Chamber in RSE.
"Lets put something underwater for the sake of reminding people that RSE had underwater stuff too"
or
"Lets make a mysterious underwater place with treasures simply because it would be interesting"
Which one was the likely case...
NachoMan said:
3. The Hoenn starts are unobtainable in Gen 5, as so as all the others besides the Unova ones, (without bringing over from Gen 4).
"As are all the others."
And like that wasn't enough, the gen 4 ones were seen last the longest time ago of them all.
NachoMan said:
4. Possible former Team Magma and Team Aqua Grunts in the Iccirus City house.
replacing an ex-Rocket member
NachoMan said:
5. Groudon and Kyogre are unobtainable in Gen 5.(not including the Japanese event or bringing over from Gen 4).
So are:
Dialga
Palkia
Giratina
Lugia
Ho-oh
NachoMan said:
6.Hoenn the only region not playable on the DS.
And it will stay that way due to Gamefreak having a new toy since 2010, and no new games coming out for the DS.
NachoMan said:
7.Hoenn needs a graphic update.
Okay
NachoMan said:
8. Rayquaza also unobtainable in Gen 5(not including bringing over from Gen 4, or the Nobunga's Rayquaza, because it was never distributed outside Japan).
why is this a separate point?
5.
NachoMan said:
9. Jirachi is unobtainable in Gen 5.(again, without bringing over from Gen 4).
It wasn't obtainable in the gen it debuted, or ever since.
Its an event-only pokemon and has NEVER been in a game.
NachoMan said:
10.Deoxys?(not including Masuda's Deoxys, at least not until it's announced for America).
It wasn't tied to Hoenn-games from the beginning.
It was actually first obtainable in FRLG, and that alone proves that they will put it in an upcoming game regardless of what kind of game it is, if they deem it necessary.
NachoMan said:
11. Guy in the Dessert Resort talking about the Go-Goggles.
A blackbelt says he trained in the Fight-dojo in Kanto
ie,
A text-reference to other games in the same fictional universe.
NachoMan said:
12. When you get Battle Points at PWT, you hear a little tune that's similar to Pokemon Emerald.
Johto music in gen 3 - The Sevii islands used themes from Mahagony town
Kanto music in gen 5 - The radio tower takeover theme plays in the Gamefreak office
Gamefreak often reuses and remixes old music.
NachoMan said:
13. B2W2's Pokedex having a lot of Pokemon that were in the Hoenn Pokedex.
If it had none or very few, that would be a stronger argument than if it included most.
Why would you wanna see the same pokemon twice in a row?
But lets take a look anyway
Kanto - 38
Johto - 33
Hoenn - 43
Sinnoh - 32
Pretty much a good mix eh?
NachoMan said:
14. In the first Diamond & Pearl special, Dawn decides to travel to Hoenn to compete in Pokémon Contests there, just like May traveled to Johto for the same reason after the end of the Advanced Generation series.
Okay.
NachoMan said:
15.In Zoroark: Master of Illusions, the flags promoting the Pokémon Baccer World Cup that are all over the town (and thus, everywhere in the movie) has a Poké Ball on the flag. One section is red and the other is blue, and in the middle, there's a green button.
You mean like Red Blue and Green? Maybe there was also a yellow pole or something.
If you think there is any chance that someone from gamefreak told them to use red/blue/green somewhere in a movie because they will release remakes of games with those colors in 3 years or so, I have nothing to offer but a facepalm.
NachoMan said:
16.In the Generation II remakes, HeartGold and SoulSilver, in the Cerulean Cave, there are large emerald formations, and, if one goes deeper into the cave, a large emerald maze
I didn't know they would wanna hint at remakes IN remakes, but Okay.

17. In HGSS, Steven Stone, the Champion of the Hoenn Region, makes an appearance, and gives you a choice of a Hoenn Region Starter Pokémon.
And Oak gives you a Kanto starter.
Both are deviations from the originals that allow you to obtain starters from other generations
due to the fact that there weren't games coming anytime soon that would feature them.
NachoMan said:
18. During the Enigma Stone event in HGSS, after you catch Latios/Latias, Steven says he won't ask your name, and that "Our fun will have to wait for the right time" This is contradicted by PWT, but you never speak to him outside PWT, where in a RSE remake, he would know your name and he would appear throughout the game.
I'm not even sure I get what you mean here, but
How are the HGSS player and the BW2 (and RSE?) player the same person? Or what's the relation I'm missing here?
NachoMan said:
19. If you talk to one of the people in the Celadon Mansion, they will say "We are remaking an old game, but this is quite a challenge. Old fans would not want usw to mess with their good memories...". Some people I've say they're actually talking about HGSS. I believe it's a potential Ruby/Sapphire remake.
He is inside an old game that was remade and talks about making an old game and not messing up players memories... and you think he is talking about RSE? On what basis?
NachoMan said:
20. The Root and Claw Fossils are on display in the Pewter City Museum of Science.
Where?
But there is a clearly visible Armaldo fossl in Nacrene...next to a huge Dragonite skeleton.
NachoMan said:
21. Hoenn Sound, the sound of Route 101, can be played on the Pokégear, and attracts Hoenn Pokémon to the player.
As can Sinnoh and Kanto route 1 sounds, attracting their Pokemon.
NachoMan said:
22. Bill mentions Lanette (who, in turn, mentioned him in Ruby, Sapphire, and Emerald), and the Hoenn Region.
Shauntal mentiones Agatha and Bertha.
But whats text compared to
Crasher Wake ACTUALLY STANDING on route 18 in BW2 for no reason.
NachoMan said:
23. Black and White's lack of connectivity to Generation III serves as a sign in itself.
If that's a point, it holds true for gen I too.
You can still transfer pokemon through gens since 3 just fine from my knowledge though.
NachoMan said:
24. In Black and White, there are multiple hints, with several people make references to Hoenn. In Undella Town, several people who only visit during the summer are said to come from Hoenn. The The Riches are also very similar to the Winstrate Family from Ruby, Sapphire, and Emerald.
As are there to Sinnoh, Kanto and Johto.
NachoMan said:
25. The Pokémon Basculin which (while also looking like a Rabuta Berry, a Generation III introduced Berry), they come in two varieties, green with red stripes, and green with blue stripes, the colors on Ruby, Sapphire, and Emerald.
Are you actually taking a pokemons design as an intended hint towards upcoming games now?
NachoMan said:
26. While not being found in game (to my knowledge) data for the Fluffy Tail, Shoal Shell exists in Black and White.
Same goes for the Pokedoll and the Odd Keystone.
NachoMan said:
27. Relic Castle resembles the Mirage Tower.
The only connection they have is being located in the desert.
Next thing you'll say is, there is a desert in both games.
NachoMan said:
28. Also, there are similarties between the Surfing parts of Route 18 in Unova (with the currents and small shallow waters) that resemble area of open ocean in Hoenn.
Wait excuse me, you noticed theres water with ridable currents instead.
Why not note places that are similar to Kanto/Sinnoh locations?
NachoMan said:
29. An Armaldo fossil is shown in the Nacrene City Pokémon Gym.
And a Dragonite that people actually talk about..steal its head and stuff.
NachoMan said:
30. The Safari Ball has a catching animation programmed into Black and White despite not being legitimately able to be used, as there is no Safari Zone. Hoenn however, does have a Safari Zone.
Hoenn did not introduce the Safari Ball. Kanto did.
Hoenn did not introduce the Safari Zone. Kanto did.
NachoMan said:
31. Upon defeat, Game Freak Morimoto references Steven's self-introduction in his Ruby and Sapphire Trainer's Eyes profile (Japanese version only).
A swimmer in Humilau talks about Misty and her title as the tomboyish mermaid.
NachoMan said:
32. The deserts in the Unova and Hoenn regions both use deep sand tile. They are also located on or near Routes that lead to the fourth Gym. In the Desert Resort, the Go-Goggles are even mentioned by a traveler from Hoenn. Special Pokémon (the Anorith Fossil and the Lilileep Fossil in Hoenn and five Darmanitan in Zen Mode in Unova) can be found in each desert.
Called it.
Twist mountain in winter resembles the northern outer area of Mt.Coronet.
Or even better
Reversal mountain resembles Stark mountain, has people mention Stark mountain in it, the Magma stone, and even has Heatran show up.

33. In R/S/E, your rival (one of the rivals anyway, as Wally also counts as a rival) gives you the HM02, Fly. In BW, one of your rivals ALSO gives you the HM02, Fly.
Okay
NachoMan said:
34. In BW2, some of the newer music has a distinctly Hoenn feel, like at the PWT.
12.
NachoMan said:
35. Hoenn Gym Leaders and Champions return in BW2, at the PW2, and with new sprites to match the new systems. These can easily be updated into a Hoenn remake.
And they would not have added them otherwise?
NachoMan said:
36. The Gym Leader and Champion Battle Themes for Hoenn have been remixed into the Black and White 2 Soundtrack for the PWT.
As did the rest.
NachoMan said:
37. An employee at the Devon Corporation states that he wants to create a machine that can visually reproduce the dreams of Pokémon. Dream Mist, which is produced by Munna of Generation V, can achieve this.
And a random trainer describes Munna in Kanto.
NachoMan said:
38. The battery in Emerald (I'm not so sure about Ruby and Sapphire, they seem to be working), can run dry, making all time based events (such as the evolution of Eevee, Berry growing, and being able to reach Mirage Island), impossible. If Generation III remakes do appear. Also, there are some TMs that have been retained (I did not notice this, I read it somewhere). Rock Tomb (Roxanne), Bulk Up (Brawly), Overheat (Flannery), Facade (Norman), Aerial Ace (Winona), and Calm Mind (Tate and Liza). Watson and Wallace do not have their original TMs retained, so it is likely they will be replaced with Generation V TMs. What I am reading suggests Wild Bolt and Scald respectively
RSE are old and getting less properly playable, okay.
The TMs changed or kept don't make a difference. Remakes always adapt to gen changes one way or another. Besides what makes you assume any future games will keep the BW TM list to begin with?
NachoMan said:
39.Junichi Masuda mentioned "wanting to do something good" with the Hoenn Region in his blog on Twitter, implying impending remakes.
Okay.
NachoMan said:
40. There are also multiple Pokémon, Treecko, Grovyle, Sceptile, Torchic, Combusken, Blaziken, Mudkip, Marshtomp, Swampert, Zigzagoon, Linoone, Nincada, Ninjask, Shedinja, Makuhita, Hariyama, Nosepass, Skitty, Delcatty, Meditite, Medicham, Electrike, Manectric, Gulpin, Swalot, Numel, Camerupt, Torkoal, Spoink, Grumpig, Spinda, Cacnea, Cacturne, Castform, Kecleon, Duskull, Dusclops, Snorunt, Glalie, Regirock, Regice, Registeel, Latias, Latios, Kyogre, Groudon, and Rayquaza, which aren't able to be found in Black and White. These are all found in the Hoenn Pokédex. However, only a small amount of these are now catchable in B2W2.
Please don't make me list all the Kanto and Sinnoh Pokemon, duh.
The numbers are all quite similar.
1. Many of the points you made are in gen 4 games.
If any of those matter, it means RSE doesn't have to occur in the same gen as the "hints" are made anyway.
2. No one is saying Hoenn will never be reintroduced.
The only question is whether it would make sense to do that right now or later.
Even though I responded to all points, nothing on your list says that Hoenn games have to happen next.
Even if every single one of them was a strong RS-reference, with a clear intention to invoke nostalgia and memories of said games, it would still all merely support the thought that we will see Hoenn again someday, not necessarily right away.
Just consider the ones I responded to with "Okay":
-Hoenn needs graphic update
-Dawn went to Hoenn
-Rvial gives you Fly..
-time-battery dying
-Masuda wanting to do something speciel with Hoenn
A RSE-game after gen VI would address all these just as well.
3. We might as well make a RBY or DPt remake hint discussion then, cause there are references to all of them.
