Why no max elixir????

You can max elixir then attach a DCE and get a Xerneas setup turn one/or in one turn

If you're playing expanded Rainbow Road, there's a much better archetype for it. You need 4 Ultra Ball and an Ace Spec, though. If you'd like to know about this said archetype, feel free to ask.

The other rainbow road variant, which is also the original, is Ho-oh/Xerneas. Ho-oh is an Energy accelerator, a fire type, and an attacker. And when Sky field gets bumped, once you get another one up, Rebirth let's you put it back on the bench with 3 Basic Energy of different types. Here's a skeleton for what the lists look like:
Pokemon:15
  • 4 Xerneas BKT
  • 3 Ho-oh-EX DRX
  • 1 Shaymin-EX ROS
  • 1 Tapu Lele-GX
  • 1 Exeggcute PLF
  • 1 Keldeo-EX
  • 1 Jirachi-EX
  • 1 Fighting type(Sudowoodo GRI or Marshadow-GX work)
  • 1 Dark Type(Darkrai-GX has a similar ability to Ho-oh, which works, but older lists played Yveltal-EX)
  • 1 Lightning type(older lists usually play Jolteon-EX)
Trainers:32
  • 3 Sycamore
  • 1 N
  • 1 Colress
  • 1 Guzma
  • 1 Hex Maniac
  • 1 Computer Search
  • 4 Sky Field
  • 2 Float Stone
  • 4 Ultra Ball
  • 4 VS Seeker
  • 4 Energy Switch
  • 3 Battle Compressor
  • 1 Field Blower
  • 1 Super Rod
  • 1 Sacred Ash/Karen
Energy:11
  • 4 DCE
  • 4 Fairy
  • 3 different basic Energy(usually including the 1 Basic Energy that your other Pokemon use, such as Lightning for Jolteon, Dark for Yveltal-EX/ Darkrai-GX, and Water for Keldeo-EX/ Psychic for Lele.
  • Free space:2

Just a note: using Ninja Boy is incredibly good to exchange a Ho-oh that has been Rebirthed for a Xerneas. Another option is to include Maxie's and Gallade.
