This rampardos, the new one of course, has a pokebody that allows to by pass bodys (etc) that reduce the damage from its attack.

Would this apply to Scizor if Scizor SF has 6 damage on it?

Thank you.

I just seem to have a mental block that prevents me from seeing this answer

"Rampardos's attack's damage isn't affected by Resistance, Poké-Powers, Poké-Bodies, or any other effects on the Defending Pokémon."

Rampardos's attack's damage bypass Scizor's Honeycomb Defender.

Knew it.

Thank you guys.

Woops. I guess i just have to post a reason why i was confused:

Rampardos - Rampardos's attack's damage isnt affected by....poke-bodies

Scizor- ...6 or more damage counters....damage done to Scizor

So i guess Ramp's attack damage isnt changed, but the damage dealed is, so his body applies.

Thanks

And how about Shaymin's Poké body on Scizor?
Cause it isnt a Poké body on Scizor but the effect is on Scizor.

Follow-up question: Let's say that Scizor knocks out a Pokémon with Accelerate, and the opponent brings up Rampardos. Would Rampardos be able to damage Scizor?

Don't understand the question. Shaymin LVX gives Scizor +40 HP, like it would for any Grass-type Pokemon.

Yes, it would.

Well Does the +40 HP still apply when Rampardos does damage to Scizor, because if Rampardos would do 100 damage with 2 pluspowers for example, it would Knock Scizor out, but not if he has 140 HP, but thats an effect of a Pokebody so...

Your confused, I think. Scizor will have 140 HP, even with Rampardos attacking you. He can't do anything to HP, just things like resistance, or something that affect the damage he is doing.

Yeah, it looks like it specifically concerns "Rampardos's attack's damage." The gain in HP is unrelated to how much damage Rampardos would do.

Exactly, you seem to get it.

Another question: Mr. Mime's "Airy Wall" wouldn't block Rampardos's attacks, even if Rampardos had 2 or fewer Energy cards attached to it, right?
