Nope, L. Xs are just Levelup cards. They have no stage, and they can't be saerched for by cards that state Search Basic or Search for Evolution (Note that when both are stated, the errata given replaces it with Pokemon cards in general). Rare Candies specifically state a Stage 1/2 card, so L. Xs are excepted.
