Not sure I have seen this anywhere, but I am just going to call this one: Fayld's "What is that idiot thinking" deck of the week. I may need to copyright that lol!

The approach is different from other rat decks in that you aren't taking OHKO's with this list. You are setting up a next turn Decidueye snipe KO. This is a quick deck, so please pick it apart. I am positive I missed things and I am also positive that others on this forum will have great ideas.

Might wanna find a way to sneak some rare candies in just in case you can't use FoGP. Biggest issue I see with this deck is that you are going to be giving them a free turn to try and save their wounded 'mon before the snipe. Not too many decks play heals but it could be a problem you may want to address

Why don't you try a copy of enhanced hammer? (Phantom Forces #94) (Just incase you can't get decidueye into play, and have to attack with raticate.):D

Bit of an update. I played around with this a fair amount last night. It needs more energy denial.

In games where I was able to control for energy, the deck worked about as expected. Break up, two Decidueye rolling. Take a KO on second turn. The original deck list was inconsistent.

So, I switched the line to a modified bull owls deck and that was more consistent. I also added a Wally to help with accelerated evolution. Bull up front early while building the rats helped. Two Decidueye by end of t3 was easy to do. Three also frequently happened.

The Decidueye aren't an issue. Not surprisingly, the issue is that the massive Pokemon lines really hurt the consistency of cycling cards along with the inherent slowness of evolving the rats twice. I tried a wide range of options, but just never felt like I could get the cards needed when I needed them.

So, next up, the rat line thinned to 2-2-1, 3 tauros, 2-2-2 Decidueye, and 2 oranguru. I have found they help more than shaymin throughout the game and this deck isn't quick anyway.

Also planning on one enhanced hammer and one team flare grunt in an effort to increase control. With that, I am off into the abyss to try to make this work lol.
