Jello there folks, I was experimenting around with the hgss rotation and I think I found a "decent" legend deck that can potentially be a good competitive deck!

heres the list

4 rayquaza deoxys legend (UNDAUNTED)
2 vulpix (UNLEASHED)
2 ninetales (UNLEASHED)
2 cyndaquil (HEARTGOLD SOUL SILVER)
1 quilava (HEARTGOLD SOUL SILVER)
2 typhlosion prime (HEART GOLD SOUL SILVER)
4 dunsparce (UNLEASHED)
1 rotom (undaunted)

TRAINERS:18

3 rare candy
4 research record
3 junk arm
4 pokemon communication
2 indigo plateau
2 dual ball


Supporters: 9

4 professor oaks new theory
4 sages training
1 professor elms training method

Energy:15

4 lightning energy
11 fire energy

The object of the deck is to throw a lot of fire energies into the discard pile then use ninetails to attatch 3 fire energies to rayquaza deoxys legend and OZONE BUSTER 3 times for 6 prizes. typhlosion

plus with the upcoming format you can use poke catcher to OHKO something if you cant already OHKO something with a 150 power attack being psychic and normal type. I might consider using ruins of alph because the steel type have resistance to psychic, BUT THEN AGAIN I HAVE FIRE POKEMON!
 
I liked your starter as dunsparce ul. Just burn through your deck with like sages training and research record then draw a new hand. I say:

-1 Vulpix (2-2 line is enough)
-1 Cyndaquil (2-1-2 line us enough)
-1 Quilava (^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^)
-2 numel (Dunsparce is better draw power)
-1 energy search (not needed)
+4 Dunsparce
+1 Engineers Adjustments or Professor Juniper

I like energy search because it gets rid of a card in the deck for no drawback. the point of the deck is to legend box into the rayquaza deoxys, but I agree. I just totally forgot about dunsparce because I took apart the deck. Thanks for the help shonit...

This can really speed up your deck, with Ninetales' PokePower.
 
Bo problem. Ow wow. I didn't even notice it was ninetales UL. You should use ninetales HS/CL like FlamingDriscoll09 suggested.
 
No Legend Box. While it does work with LEGENDS, the odds of you pulling two different halves of a Legend is ridiculously low. If a half of a LEGEND is in your opening hand or prize cards, the odds are much lower. You'd be better off fishing out the LEGENDS with Pokemon Communication and attaching the Energy with Emboar.

I'd drop Legend Box for that reason for Energy Retrieval to recover Energy.

BTW, although our lists are very different, this deck is sooooo fun <3
 
I just thought that if i had a legend piece in my hand i would use pokmemon communication to put it back in the deck then use junk arm to use research record over and over then legend box for the legend. I was going for a kinda "thin out the deck super fast" then legend box some energy on rayquaza. But yeah EMBOAR is way better I just dont have any. :(

I was also considering playing black belts or ruins of alph...because scizor, steelix, and a few others have resistance to psychic and the metal energies stop me from OHKO'ing them.

dude, if you had half in your hand AND poke communication, just use poke communication to get the other half and put some other pokemon in the deck. also, ninetales HGSS/CoL is way better for faster setup.

the point was to attatch energy with legend box.
 
i was considering playing professor juniper and recycles to get to the pieces faster. maybe even energy retreival or something? I think vileplume would ruin this deck too however I play fire pokemon, idk i really need help on this deck
