Real SpeedChu

Hi Pokebeach. I like to share a future deck idea that I've been working on.

Too much people say that Raichu (Prime) UD is a really bad card; but, actually, I think Raichu can use the new Pachirisu (Lost Link mini-set JP, Call of Legends USA) for make a good speed deck.

You don't know Pachirisu? Well, this is it
Pachirisu – Lightning – HP60
Basic Pokemon

Poke-Power: Self Charge
You can use this power once during your turn when you play this card from your hand onto your Bench. Attach up to 2 Lightning Energy cards from your hand to this Pokemon.

[L][C] Buzz Bolt: 50 damage. Place all Energy attached to this Pokemon in the Lost Zone.

Weakness: Fighting (x2)
Resistance: Metal (-20)
Retreat: 1

This little buddy can charge Raichu (Prime) UD fast enough for a Turn 1 120 damage. Lefeon UD Deck use a similar idea with Magmortar SV, but we have the advantage that Pachirisu is a Basic Pokemon!

Our final problem is the energies... but, we can call a SF pal, Bronzong SF. Bronzong can shuffle a card (trainers against Gengar, for example) and bring of the Deck 2 energies, enough for put Pachirisu in play (without say Bronzong can do a good damage against Machamp).

Then, with a similar strategy to Lefeon (use Seeker and SSU), we can power up Raichu for a massive 120(-140 expert) damage every turn, until you can put in play Raichu Lv X SF to finish the game!

Then, Raichu deserves a opportunity?

I was really disappointed when this pachirisu wasn't released in triumphant, but if it's in call of legends i'll finally be able to run a raichu prime deck. Fisherman will let you put energy back into your hand, while with palmers you can search energy back out with bronzong. Interviewers questions, and seeker and SSU are also good in this deck, for reusing pachirisu and keeping it off your bench. Maybe a 1-1 bench shielded manectric just so they can't easily pick off pachirisu.

my friends has a deck like this. raichu prime and raichu x. he puts down raichu x then kills a bench guy and then kills the main guy. then retreats to someone else.

it works for the most part. with the pachirisu it would work even better. the only bad part is getting him back in your hand and SSU doesnt always work

I too have seen Raichu Prime run with Raichu LV.X, and it's used to deal high amounts of damage in a short amount of time. Granted, this Pachirisu will speed it up immensely. He also ran 1 Rayquaza in the deck so he could use Speed Gain, recycling some Energy which he would then move to Raichu.

It's immensely useful, but I have seen it's got its problems with SPs and anything Fighting-type (then again, who doesn't?), and I'd say Raichu is easily a viable deck idea.

Donphan kind of laughs at you >_> You have to hit it for 160 damage to KO it, because of resistance and pokebody. Machamp prime can KO raichu without weakness >_>. E-belt would let raichu hit for even more damage, but it's relatively easy to KO, and 2 prizes for your opponent is always bad.

so the point of the deck would be to go prize for prize with your opponent as you can get faster recovery and set up, Im going to run this next set along with a magnezone deck abusing pachi, I like the rayquaza Idea it can give you that energy in a pinch also what about Power sprays?

Yeah that Pachirisu would be great with Seeker.

Get Electivire FB Lv. X out as your Active, send it to your bench with Warp Energy to bring up Raichu Prime, play Pachirisu onto your bench for it's Poke-Power, attach 2 {L}, next turn Seeker to bounce it back, attach another 2 {L} with the help of Interviewer's Questions.

Voltage Increase to transfer energies from Pachirisu onto Raichu Prime then Mega Thunderbolt for the KO. Get back your {L} that you discarded from Raichu Prime with Electivire FB Lv. X on the bench with Energy Recycle, repeat the process. Good luck running Magnezone Prime in there for drawpower unless you rather prefer Uxie instead.

Oh and If you think Donphan Prime will laugh at you, Sunyshore City Gym would like to have a word with you. It gets rid of {F} Weakness for all {L} Pokemon in play. Oh and incase you're wondering Pachirisu doesn't work that well in Magnegatr (Magnezone Prime/Feraligatr Prime) since the deck itself mainly relies on {W} for
Feraligatr Prime's Rain Dance to fuel for Magnezone Prime's Lost Burn attack.

why would I run Raichu and magnezone together thats terrible.... im saying magnezone with pachi tech as another deck....

Rayquaza simply slow down the Deck (is better let the bench space for another pachirisu or uxie). I'm playing it with proxies, and until now it goes very well.

First of all, Raichu specializes in massive damage. If you have black belt and expert belt out, you can voltage shoot for 140 and mega thunderbolt for 180 for a total of 320 in one turn. So getting 160 on a donphan isn't that big of a deal. Furthermore you can use sunyshore gym to take care of weakness and resistance problems.

Another point people may not have though of, since you're running seeker anyway, if you have a second raichu prime, you can retreat active raichu prime x, send up second raichu prime, move energy to it, seeker raichu x, and then use double voltage shoot. As long as you have the energy, and they can't OHKO you, you can double voltage shoot several turns in a row.

It says to Pachirisu not any pokemon. If you used it, it would have to be run with Lucian's or something else that moves energy.

Rather than using electivire to bring back energy, you can just use fisherman, or use palmer's contribution and search it out with cycler bronzong. If you're using electivire you can't attack every turn like you could otherwise. SSU's are flippy, but sometimes you'll need supporters other than seekers, so i think they're necessary. Every time you pick up and then play a pachirisu you should be taking another KO with raichu.

I think both raichu's from undaunted have some real potential. The raich that does fourty and twenty to a bench is a very quick card then you could retreat that and bring up raichu prime then do 120. Then that Pachirisu can get back those energys and this is also weak to gyarados so how about a lucario gl in there.

you could also do raichu prime raichu x and raichu hs. do a double ko with raichu prime raichu x combo then retreat to your raichu hs to do 100. then put down pachi and put 2 energies on your raichu prime. the only problem is that you would have to run alot of energies and you would alot of energies in your discard pile

^If you're picking a raichu besides the prime, I recommend the SV one. It has an attack that does 60 plus 10 and 10 snipe for three energy. That lets you attack every turn with no discard, and lets you effectively snipe for 90.

snipe for 90? its only 10 right. i have used that raichu so many times and it isnt that good IMO. i would much rather do 100 and OHKO somthing then put 2 energies on it and do it again.

But the idea is make 120-140 each turn (and maybe snipe for 80 with raichu lv X)... Maybe a HGSS Raichu can be good because Umbreon...

a belted HGSS raichu would do 120 also. and iron tail as an attack is always awesome. and for 1 energy doing 30 for each heads is really good.....unless you always get tails...like me (although i made a fun deck with mary's impulse and got 13 heads in a row...is that bad or good lol. the next turn i decked out lol)

The point is raichu prime is a one turn set up. It can hit for 120 every turn, which is the point.
EDIT: Lol, redundancy.
