Hey everyone and welcome to my new Interactalocke. What is an Interactalocke, you may ask? Well, it's a typical nuzlocke but you get to choose what decisions I make. The story will be changed around slightly but it will still be mostly the same. Sounds cool, right? Well guess what: it is. So jump aboard while we start our adventure!

At the Pokemon World Convention in Littleroot Town, Hoenn...
*Reggie jumps out of a van*
Reggie: Finally here in Hoenn! The Pokemon World Convention is about to start and I can't wait!
???: Me too!
*Reggie turns around*
???: I'm GadgetJax! I'm Prof. Birch's son. He will be here at the convention handing out starter Pokemon. Maybe you can get one!
Reggie: Aww swag! I'm Reggie, nice to meet you!
*Reggie and Jax enter the building*
Jax: Ogre there! It's Prof. Birch!
Reggie: And he's talking to all the other professors too!
*Birch turns around*
Birch: Why hello Jax my dear, who is this you have brought along?
Jax: This is Reggie. I just met him but he seems really cool and eager to get his first Pokemon.
Sycamore: Ah, a young trainer waiting for his first Pokemon.
Elm: Well we all have starter Pokemon on us, why don't you pick one?
Oak: Alright brudda pick any starter you'd like. Brudda this is gunna be ur partner forevur so pick wisely dude.

And that's Chapter 1! Post the name of any basic starter you want as my starter, it can be ANY starter from any region. On 5/8 I will pick the one with the most comments (if there is a tie I will pick my favorite).

Awesome, I hope you have fun with the run! :) Are you allowing starters from all regions or just from Hoenn? The flavour makes it seem like the latter, but this is AS, so figured I'd clarify. >_>

All regions. I have all the starters and I can trade over to my new AS game.
 
Ah, cool! In that case, I have to recommend my favourite starter: Bulbasaur! As for a name suggestion... Lemon? After all, it's Bulbasour. >___>
 
I'm gonna have to second the vote for Chikorita. I love the line's designs and whole theory behind them so much, so any opportunity to use them outside of Johto (the line's games....) I jump at. So use one! :p

I'm awful at nicknames. The only time I've ever named a Chikorita was when I called one Señorita because THEY BOTH END IN ORITA! GEDDIT?

I soft reset over and over to make the thing a girl, too....
 
Oak calling someone brudduh... my dream come true...

Eh, go with Cyndaquil. Call it Pikachu for the comedy of it.
 
Chapter 2: From Humble Beginnings

Oak: Now look heer big boiiiii u gotta be caerful widdat brudda cause its ur life companion brudda so make it happy and stuff
Birch: Oak, why do you talk like that?
Oak: Let me tell you something brudder all the hip kool kids do dis so yeah im hip brudder
Jax: No, we don't.
Oak: k
Birch: Come out side Reggie, I'll teach you how to use Pokemon in battle.
**Birch and Reggie go outside**
Birch: Now this here is a Pokeball. It contains your Chikorita. Press the button in the middle to ope- AAAAAHHHHHH
**Wild POOCHYENA appeared!**
Reggie: Like this?
**Reggie has sent out HERBIE**
Birch: Well, I would kill it with fire but the only attacking move it knows is tackle. Use that and knock out that dog!
**Herbie spammed TACKLE**
**RIP IN PIECES POOCHYENA**
Birch: That was actually a good lesson in Pokemon battling. Now, go to Oldale Town nearby. Jax is healing his Pokemon over there because the line to the Pokemon center here is too dang long. Maybe you can battle him after.
Reggie: kewl
**Reggie has entered Oldale Town**
Reggie: NARSE
Nurse Feathers: WHAT
Reggie: heal my pokemon please
Nurse Feathers: Not now I am praising lord fletchling
Nurse Feathers: Come pray with me
Reggie: k
*Reggie and Scorched Feathers pray*
Nurse Feathers: let me heal ur pokemans
*Herbie was healed*
Nurse Feathers: You should probably catch some Pokemon here. We have a varity of pokemon here including flying types, grass types, bug types, and normal types.
Reggie: sounds like a plan, but first I must d-d-d-dual with GadgetJax!

So that's the end of chapter 2. Now our vote is for which Pokemon I should look for: flying type, grass type, bug type, or normal type? You have till 5/11 to vote.

1. A Lord Fletchling joke and a Pokemans joke in one chapter. Save us.

2. That Oak line was Sig-worthy.

3. A Yu-gi-yoh joke? I don't even like the game, yet I still laughed.

Ah, a Flying-Type probably would serve you best.
 
How are you going to obtain this Pokemon? From the route you're on or something?
 
I vote Grass-type. :3 To be good friends with Herbie, of course. :p

Reggie: Not what I was expecting, but ok!
*Herbie used Tackle!*
*RALTS used Skill Swap!*
Reggie: POKEBALL NOW
*Reggie threw a Pokeball*
