Here' a deck im working on and I really want to add darkrai to it but im not sure if it works with it. I dont have all the cards yet but im curious of what others opinions are.

3x Buffalant DRX
3x Cobalion NV
3x Registeel ex DRX
3x Sigylph DRX
3x Draggoin NV

4x rocky helmet
4x eviolite
3x switch
3x cheren
2x full heal
2x enhanced hammer
2x crushing hammer
4x potion
3x super scoop up

4x double colorless
4x prism energy
10x metal energy

Yeah, I would assume so. Also, can't do much without a strategy. I can definately say that the hammers won't be missed, and you really need more Supporters, so:

-2 Crushing Hammers
-2 Enhanced Hammers
-1 Rocky Helmet
-1 Eviolite
+4 N
+2 Juniper

thanks for your input, im not much of a fan of juniper tho, the thought of dicarding cards drives me nuts. (im a big fan of durant cause i dont like to discard cards and I like to do it to my opponents cause it drives me so crazy) My strategy would be to use switch/retreat to best counter my opponents pokemon as I see fit. I use to try and come up with strategies but then I realized that by doing so you drive yourself crazy with ways your opponent could counter it so I just decided to try and play with cards I like.

It's usually worth it in the end though. You could also make room for some Random Reciever so that if you didn't want to ditch a hand, you would at least have an out. Maybe the two full heal (Max Potion?) for them? Max Potion is good, but most of your Pokemon require about three energies to attack, so I don't see it making too much of a difference.

You should definitely pack some N's in your Deck. It Hand Refreshes, AND disrupts your opponent quite nicely in a pinch!

You need more Draw Support in general. After many Battles, I've experienced that the Par Draw Support amount for winning Decks is 10-12. You also have completely no Ball Engine to set up your basics. Registeel EX can be searched out with Heavy Ball, while Sigilyph can be searched out with Level Ball. all of them can be searched out with Ultra Ball, which I highly recommend running 3-4 of.

I know you said you're worried about discarding cards, but honestly, after you've properly set up, you'll have many copies of the same card that you DON'T need anymore in the course of the entire battle.

As for what to take out, Full Heal is rather redundant along with Switch, since they can both heal Special Conditions. You should shave that card off completely.

Since you'll be knocking Pokemon out often, I don't think the Energy Disruption will help much, so I'd at least remove the Crushing Hammers.
