Hi everyone!

I may have my first major event this weekend and I was hoping to get a bit of insight for my current deck. I've been playing it for a few weeks now and just wanted to see what everyone else had to say about it.

Pokemon (18)
4-2-4 Emboar (2 #19, 2 #20)
2-2 Ninetales (HGSS)
3 Reshiram
1 Cleffa

T/S/S (28)
4 Pokemon Communication
4 Pokemon Collector
3 Energy Retrieval
3 Super Rod
3 Interviewers Questions
3 Rare Candy
2 Cheren
2 Junk Arm
2 Juniper
2 Switch

Energy (14)
3 Double-Colorless Energy
11 Fire

I have the option to add in Plus Powers and/or Pokemon Catchers, but I'm not sure where they should go. Thanks in advance!

i finished my first cities with reshiboar and went 4-1 but missed top cut because of an opening round loss to ZPST. here are my thoughts on your deck:

-3 energy retrieval
+3 fisherman

rationale: trainer lock decks will abound in cities so fisherman is best. also keep in mind you are using badboar and badboar requires discarding all fire energy. if you need 4 energy to reload your badboar fisherman is better than energy retrieval. remember sometimes you dont draw dce so you'll need to be prepared for that eventuality.

-3 super rod
+3 eviolite

rationale: you need to make your reshiram tougher to take down. if i had eviolite in my list i probably would have beaten the zpst deck that ran eviolite.

-2 junk arm
+2 twins

rationale: this will help you recover if you run into ZPST. perhaps if i ran twins i may have beaten the zpst deck that ran eviolite.

-2 cheren
+2 professor oak's new theory

rationale : 6 new cards is better than 3 new cards.

also my reshiboar deck doesnt run ninetails. i use 4 ponts to refresh my hand.
