I haven't posted here in a very long time, but I figured I may as well just post this list and see what happens.

As the title says, this is ReshiBoar, but it is post-ND.

Pokemon: 12
3 Reshiram EX
3-1-3 Emboar
2 FlipTini

I/S/S: 35
4 Pokemon Collector
4 PONT
4 Junk Arm
4 Rare Candy
3 Heavy Ball
3 Cilan
3 SSU
2 Switch
2 Professor Juniper
2 Rocky Helmet
1 Communication
1 Random Tranciever
1 Super Rod
1 Catcher

Energy: 13
9 {R}
4 DCE

Strategy:
The basic strategy of this deck is to use Emboar's Inferno Fandango to attach a lot of energy very quickly and use Brave Fire T2. Since nothing can OHKO Reshiram EX without Weakness, it makes sense to run SSU, since you can pick up a damaged Reshiram EX, send up the next one, and use Inferno Fandango in order to fully power the next one with the energy you got from the last one. FlipTini is to avoid tdoing fifty to yourself. DCE is just for a little extra acceleration, bringing your energy cost down to three energies instead of four. Switch is just so you can't be stalled by an Emboar getting Catchered.

The main reason I choose Emboar over Typhlosion Prime is to avoid putting on the extra damage counters that would bring you into another Reshiram EX or Zekrom EX's OHKO range, and you don't have to worry about getting them into the discard pile first.

(Just sorta realized I'm the first person to make a Reshiram EX / Emboar list. Yay. =3)

Well your lack of catcher and junk arm is bad here do something like this

Tss 26
4 collector
4 pont
4 junk arm
3 catcher
2 sage
2 juniper
2 switch
2 poke comm
2 rare candy
1 eviolite

Nrg 15
9 fire
4 dce
2 rescue

Junk Arm is already in there. And I find these problems with your list:
1.) It lacks SSU, which is vital in order not to give up 2 prizes at a time.
2.) What's the point of Rescue Energy? If they KO 3 Reshirams they win, and I run 4 of them.
3.) RDL will decrease consistency.
4.) How do you use RDL without any {L} Energies?

RE: ReshiBoar (Reshiram EX / Inferno Fandango Emboar)

-1 Reshiram EX (only need 3)
-2 Pokemon Communication (Heavy Ball is better)
-1 Fisherman (this isn't old ReshiBoar, you dont need energy back from the discard)
-2 Fire (Read above post, play this like a regular deck with energy acceleration, not like ReshiBoar)
-2 Interviewer's Questions (terrible card)
-1 Tepig (only need 1)
-2 Eviolite (Rocky Helmet is better, unneeded with Victini)
-1 Switch
Total: -12

+2 Professor Juniper
+1 Random Receiver
+3 Heavy Ball (<33333333333333333333333333333333333333)
+1 Rare Candy
+1 Super Rod
+1 Junk Arm (ALWAYS must be maxed)
+1 Catcher (even though its hard to fit in, its worth it)
+2 Rocky Helmet (will help extremely against other EXs, especially Mewtwo)
Total: +12

Hope this helped.

You make good points. However, what is Random Reciever and what is the exact wording on Heavy Ball?

Also, I fail to see how Rocky Helmet helps me outside Mewtwo. I'll still have to attack other 180 HP Pokemon again, because they'll have 10 left. With Eviolite, I cannot be OHKO'd, even if I'm attacked by another Reshiram EX/Zekrom EX for 150 and flip double tails for Brave Fire. I"m on the fence, but will take your word for the Rocky Helmets.

Do you know if we've gotten English scans of Heavy Ball and Random Tranciever yet?

Retreating would do no good whatsoever. They would Catcher KO it.

RE: ReshiBoar (Reshiram EX / Inferno Fandango Emboar)

Btw both mewtwo and rdl ohko reshiram ex just sayin and i also meant to say put in seeker sorry ive been kinda jumbled today youll prolly only need to put in 2 cause youll prolly only need to pick up one or two during the game plus reshi rocky dont necessarily beat mewtwo because mewtwo is also compatible with eviolite i still think rdl is a good play if you use it right it can ohko most things and get you 2-3 prizes with it sorry for my jumbly posts today lastly i think that a 3-2-2 line emboar might be the best way to go cuz if you get trainer locked you may die

But if I run a 3-1-3 then I can also evolve into Emboar, and since there's trainer lock, they can't Catcher it. Also, if it runs Reuniclus I OHKO everything generally in The Truth. And how does RDL OHKO Reshiram EX?

RE: ReshiBoar (Reshiram EX / Inferno Fandango Emboar)

Yeah, I meant Pignite, sorry. Heavy Ball lets you search out your deck for any pokemon with a retreat cost of 3 or higher, and it and Level Ball are god sends. Random Receiver lets you turn over the top cards of your deck until you get a Supporter (more consistent than Pokegear but you may once in a while get a Collector). We have not gotten English scans of anything but Reshiram, Zekrom, and Mewtwo EX, but they will almost certainly be in the set.

As for Rocky Helmet vs. Eviolite:

Opponent's EX attacks for 150 and takes 20 damage of recoil
You attack for 150, hopefully not getting tails because of Victini.
Opponent's EX attacks and ko's Reshiram but ko's themself as well.

With Eviolite:

Opponent's EX attacks for 150
You attack for 150
Opponent ko's you.

Eviolite is only good if you start of on the attack trade (if one of your pokemon was the last to be knocked out) and if you have really bad luck. I would go with Rocky Helmet, as it will win you a lot more games than Eviolite will save (IMO).

RE: ReshiBoar (Reshiram EX / Inferno Fandango Emboar)

However, that Rocky Helmet scenario is only 75% of the time. The other 25% you hit tails, Reshiram EX gets KOed during your turn, and then the opponent gets to attack your next Pokemon during their turn. Also, if you use Rocky Helmet, hitting a tails on your turn with both EXes being fresh turns into your EX being KOed first, and you falling behind in the prize exchange. As you lose 3 EXes and you lose, a 25% chance every time you attack of losing isn't so good. I'd rather use Eviolite and try to maximize speed, but that's just me. Really, its just personal preference. Also, if the opponent in the scenarios you provided retreats their EX and KOs with a fresh Pokemon you're in trouble.

RE: ReshiBoar (Reshiram EX / Inferno Fandango Emboar)

I'd also consider teching in a single Zekrom/Kyurem for Outrage abuse. Kyurem destroys the mirror and other Reshiphlosion decks while Zekrom makes cake out of Yanmega. A very tasty cake, too. Other than that, we can just nitpick at this point. You have a pretty solid list. Not so sure with all the Sage's Training though. We don't really need to throw anything in the discard pile...I'd take one out for another Pokemon Catcher. Smart of you to keep the Switch in. I like that.

RE: ReshiBoar (Reshiram EX / Inferno Fandango Emboar)

I should run 1 of each for a while and see which I use more. And, if all else fails, I can always keep the one of each for different matchups. Say, I could use the Rocky Helmet if I play another EX deck, but I could play the Eviolite if I play something else.

On a different note, do you guys think we'll get Cilo in this next set? Search your deck for three basic energies would be fantastic, as I could slap them down with Emboar. We've had the translation for a while (see page 10 of the front page) and it was in the same set of scans as Heavy Ball. Any suggestions on what I could remove for Cilo?

*Edit:
Also, when figuring the damage exchange, remember that I can alwasy "reset" my end with a well-timed SSU.

RE: ReshiBoar (Reshiram EX / Inferno Fandango Emboar)

I think you mean Cilan. Sage's Training is an option, since you have Collector for the basics anyway and Heavy Ball for Emboar, so the only other thing you really need is energy, which Cilan nabs, therefore weakening the need for flat out draw.

Thanks, but I'm not running CaKE! :p Just kidding. But remember, in Mirror, the OHKO a regular Kyurem, even with an eviolite. Sage's Training assists in the T2 Brave Fire, since I'll usually be fishing for a Rare Candy since I have a whole slew of ways to get Emboar already. It's the only card that helps me get Rare Candy without throwing my hand away.

Yes, Cilan, not Cilo. My bad. And yes, I suppose I could drop the Sage's Training down to two, since I have less to search for with Cilan. I still would like a couple in there because they assist with getting Trainers, like I said with Rare Candy, but you and Serperior make good arguments about Sage's being more expendable here. I will drop them for Cilans.
