Guys plz let me know how is the deck and do it need some changes @.@. Just started playing new some advice xD plz and ty. I'm trying to add smeargle in it but I don't know what to take out, help ty @.@ and also should I make my Emboar 4-3-4, 2 Emboar(normal)? Will 4 Reshiram be overkill or 3 will be enough?

RE: Reshiram/Typholosion

You'll need more than 2 Rare Candy to get set-up quickly, especially if you want to get Emboar ready T2. May I suggest:

- 1 Warp Point(HGSS-on will be new format, so trying to create less of a change when rotation comes)

- 1 PONT(4 hand refresh is enough)

+ 2 Rare Candy

You also may want to find room for a 2-2-2 Emboar line. Hope I helped.

RE: Reshiram/Typholosion

woah thks it does help ^^ and i thought warp point is still legal to be used even after the hgss format? By the way, do I need super scoop up bcoz due to typhlosion's poke power, my reshiram will have a lot of dmg counter on it and it can die easily lols

RE: Reshiram/Typholosion

^Nope, the most recent one is from MD, which is being rotated. The deck looks fine to me, besides maybe finding room for a Pignite.

RE: Reshiram/Typholosion

haha ok ok and yah is typhlosion build better or magnezone prime build better?

RE: Reshiram/Typholosion

ok thks it does help a lot xD ^^

by the way is twins a good card to use?

RE: Reshiram/Typholosion

I went with typhlosion since release of reshiram but yesterday I switched over to using just emboar instead and it helped significantly more. I don't think there's really a need for having both typhlosion AND emboar though. I'd suggest picking one to go with and replace it with more supporters and another rare candy.

RE: Reshiram/Typholosion

lols now I'm confused @.@ but by using typhlosion, I don't need to 100% rely on my energy retrieval to get my energy back @.@

RE: Reshiram/Typholosion

well think about it. you only need to put 2 fire on each turn for reshiram. so having 1 typhlosion out or 1 emboar will be enough. and ideally you'll want 2 ninetales out for all the draw power you need. and then have 2 reshiram on the bench to start building for when the active gets knocked out. I run 4 fisherman and 3 energy retreival in my reshiram deck with emboar and I get my energies back easily, and I get those two t/s by ninetales' draw power. or if you go with typhlosion, then you can replace emboar with bringing up the supporters you have to 4 (you won't need fisherman with typhlosion since it does the recycling for you).

So both typhlosion and emboar is really just overkill for reshiram. you can bring it down from 18 pokemon to 13, which helps a ton against lostgar (which is going to see a lot more play now that the format will slow down). you're guaranteed to have pokemon sitting around in your hand after ninetales' draw power and only 6 slots in the play field available. so with taking out emboar or typhlosion, you'd have a lot less chance of pokemon sitting in your hand and end up losing to lost world.

RE: Reshiram/Typholosion

lols very true haha will be considering xD. By the way, y nobody uses copycat and also flower shop lady rarely ppl uses it lols?

RE: Reshiram/Typholosion

i run 4 rescues in mine. no need for flower shop lady or anything then. plus you only need 2 fires on reshiram for it to attack. 1 recue+2 fires.

RE: Reshiram/Typholosion

ok ok will try to >.< but I still dont get it y ppl don't run copycat and also I made a few changes, mind checking is it okay @.@

RE: Reshiram/Emboar deck

yeah I run 3 rescues and it definitely helps me out.

to answer your question about nobody using copycat: with the current MD-on rotation, there's other supporters and trainers that are more useful for the popular decks out there. and when the HGSS-on rotation hits, copycat will become a better supporter. HOWEVER, when the HGSS-on rotation hits, lostgar will become more popular, so many people will be trying to not draw too many cards in fear of getting stuck with pokemon in their hand to fall prey to gengar prime. The only deck that will be holding large hands will be this one, meaning you. So there's no real purpose of running copycat if you're always going to be the person with a lot more cards in your hand than your opponent. so because of that, copycat would just hold you back. the only purpose of it would be to refresh your deck if it gets too small from drawing so much with ninetales. But if that were your purpose, then PONT would be a better choice because it would do the same thing as copycat late-game, and is more useful than copycat early-game.

so there you go :) copycat is a good substitute for PONT if you don't have enough, or you could use it until you get all of the t/s/s you need to finish the rest of your deck.
