Which retreating trainer would you prefer best ?

I go with Warp Point. It can help x2 the help of Switch.

Good old fashoined Switch. Warp Point is second as it could help your opponent get their main attacker to the active slot without wasting any energies/trainers/etc. Last is Ballon Berry as it can be Windstormed away.

You left out Fluffy Berry ... it's better than Baloon for non-ex pokemon. I used it in a Metanite deck one time to good effect.

I'm also a huge fan of Warp Energy.

Warp point is far superior than its elder brother, switch.Strange but true.

2=Fluffy Berry
3=Baloon Berry
4=Warp Point because it may bring a good Pokemon out (from your opponent's)...

if ur deck doesnt have steelix ex or anything that can hit the bench or free retreat poke, SWITCH is the way to go!
Switch can destroy their active poke - assuming that u have lugia ex to be switched and kill hem.

w.point is second. this goes best with steelix ex, but u can also use it as a 5th windstorm.

the others are tools, so when the pokemon is affected by special conditions, they CANT retreat! BTW they can be windstromed
