Anyway hi all! This is yet again a new thread about a guy that used to play the tcg many many moons ago in fact delta species and the epic holon engine was all the rage the last time I picked up a card but up until that time I had soooo many fantastic times!
Since then I've grown up, travelled, moved out from the parents found a job blah blah blah....and of course I've found a lot of old Pokemon cards decks, holos, promos, coins, badges, folders. They were just sitting there in my parents attick, untouched and very dusty so going through them I've become very nostalgic. Ive got the online game via iOS it's cool but very glitchy and not as satisfying as the real thing lol. I've been visiting this site as a guest for the past few weeks looking at what's new, what's happening in the Pokemon world and I want to play again...yay! Lol this site is amazing credit to those who have kept it going so long infact it's gotten better since the last time I remember using it!
So yea long story short I want to play again. Just for fun and lols if it gets to anything more so be it. So a little about me.
My names Nick. I'm 28.( is that too old) I'm from a place called Wolverhampton in the UK. So apologies if some from across the pond have read this for no reason what so ever haha...
Is anybody local to me reading this? I understand there is a local league not far from me in Sutton Coldfield. Does anybody go there? I'm afraid all my old poke-friends have moved on and I won't no anybody. Though I have given a work colleague the buzz too so maybe he could come also....
Sorry if I've pointlessly rambled on....and or this is in the wrong place. Please move if so Mr Admin.
But just looking for some information on my local league, if anybody using this site visits there? Id love to talk about the new formats and meta etc to get back into the game in general with somebody local or just in general. Any help is great!
