BEFORE YOU READ, FOR THOSE WHO KNOW I ALREADY HAD ANOTHER COPY OF THIS, I ERASED IT. I WANTED TO SEE WHAT PEOPLE THOUGHT OF IT SINCE IT WAS DEAD. I HOPE I CAN DO THIS.

CHAPTER 1
"Father, could we please go home now," blond-haired Justin said as his father led him through the Library. The Canalave Library was no place for a child barely ten years of age. "I want to battle with my Machop!"
"Shhh," whispered a nearby librarian carefully putting away some books.
"Shhh is right," his father told him. "It will only take a few more minutes."
"That's what you said an hour ago," his son said as he shuffled his hands through the soft-cover books in rows that seemed as that they would never end.
His father motioned him to sit at a small table at the heart of the library. Before his father read a book inside the library, he would always look up a the miraculous sight of stained glass Altarias rested on the ceiling. His father's kind hands slowly and delicately opened the dusty old book in front of him. Justin sighed as he watched his father put on his reading glasses. He knew that meant buisness.
"May I ask what the book is about?" Justin asked as his father cleared his throat.
"This book could prove the existance of one of the most terrifying but most fascinating Pokemon in history of mankind."
"And is this Pokemon powerful like my Machop?"
"Let's just say this Pokemon is more powerful than any other creature on the face of this earth," said his father as he spoke under his breath.
"Should I be scared?" Justin said as he lifted up the two legs of his chair. He was more bored than ever.
"There's no need to be. These are only my studies. They might just be some good ghost stories," he chuckled as closed the book and took it to the desk at the front of the library. As the lady scanned the book on her computer, nothing came up on the screen as if the book wasn't even a book at the library.
"That's odd," she said. "We usually record every book we keep at the library and log it into the computer." She shrugged and glared strangely at the monitor. "Infact, it says here that there isn't even a book on the globe with this name. Either this book is a rare artifact or completely worthless. If you would like you can keep it. Backtracking it's data would take month and cost us a lot." After flipping through the book and reading through it's contents, she handed it back nodding her head.
"So we can keep it," asked Justin to his father. "Yes we can," he said with a grin of satisfaction on his face. Justin could tell that his father really needed it.
Justin held open the brass-rimmed door for his father as his eyes eagerly glared into the book the whole walk home. Time to time he would gaze out onto the Canalave shore focusing his eyes on the painted skies. Dusk was around the bend, and Justin was looking forward to his first Pokemon battle with the light of the streets guiding him. As they approached home, a soft wind whisked through the valley below creating a perfect atmosphere for battling.
Justin ran ahead greeting his friend Chase with a firm handshake. Then in complete silence, they advanced towards their battle positions in the vacant lot next to Justin's house. The street lights resembled a spot light on a stage and the battle was their show. Justin and his rival grunted as they prepared themselves for what was about to unleash in the minutes ahead.
"Go Gibble," Chase said as he flung his hand out unleashing his first Pokemon. It looked as though it was a stubby dragon with missles on the sides of it's skull. Justin had never seen it before. It must have been Chases's new catch.
"Machop, let's get started," he said as a ray of red light revealed a mighty muscle man with tuffs of hair and a piercing grin.
Justin took a deep thread and then ordered his first attack. "Machop, use Sucker Punch!"
Machop flew at the foe but the foe dodged the attack with precise movements that could only be taught by an expirienced trainer. Chase gasped and quickly called out a second attack. "Machop, use Faint Attack!" In lightning speed, Machop flew towards the foe a second time, but Gibble shot missiles counter attacking Machop, sending him to the far end of the lot.
"Time to finish this off! I never knew I would have to say that so soon," laughed Chase as Gibble grew into a position as though he was ready to jump. Before Machop could realize, Gibble lunged at the foe and rapidly started lunching and kicking the foe.
"Machop, MACHOP," Justin screamed as he ran towards Machop with tears rolling down his eyes. Chase hesitated and called back his Pokemon.
"Sorry Justin, but you aren't a match for me anymore. I was going to send out my Geodude, but it looks like your 'only' Pokemon is wiped out. You need more practice." Chase turned around and started walking away into the fog that was forming around the lot. Justin turned towards his father and eyed him with a frown.
"If you wouldn't stop dragging me to the library for your stupid research, I 'could' practice more!" He dashed for home wiping away his tears. His father hung his head thinking of what he had done. He thought about his son and his research and how they both meant so much to him. That night, they were both in silence to eachother as they quickly prepared themselves for bed. There was a barrier that night between them and only the future would know how to break it.
The next morning, Justin awoke before his father and slipped on his black suede jacket. He hoped to be out and back before his father had even woken up. He knew this would be the perfect time to trade his Machop. He had gaven it a super potion the night before to heal his wounds. "This is my time," Justin mumbled to himself as he carried his Machop on his shoulders through the dark woods behind his house. He could see small Furret and Ratatta running about through the brush. A mother Starly nested on a tree with her young. Justin tried to be a quiet as he could so none of the other Pokemon were frightened.
Justin reached his destination in a matter of only a few minutes. It was a large clearing brightened by the sun's direct rays. A rainbow of the mist revealed itself among the dew coated on the grass. A Staravia swooped down gathering fallen leaves and twigs to build it's nest. Justin smiled at the sense that he was alone and could focus on things that mattered to him. "Machop, let's get started," James said excitedly as he lowered Machop off his back. Machop jumped with glee and started punching the grass chaoticly.
Justin's theory was to choose a target for Machop and teach him to learn coordination is still and moving objects. "Okay, Machop...aim your self for the tree and use Mach Punch on it!" Machop positioned himself and leaped forward nailing a punch on the tree, leaving a crater the size of his hand imprinted in the tree. "Great aim and great power! Good job," Justin hollered as Machop ran back towards him. "Now, Machop, aim for that Bidoof over there," instructed Justin. "If you aim for a moving object, battling Chase's Gibble won't be a problem anymore." Machop twisted his body and suddenly sprinted towards the creature. Bidoof waved it's cottonball tail and started to hobble away. Bidoof just made it, causing Machop to ram into a tree. Several leaves fell off the tree, and some Starly eggs, cracking on his head. A mother Staravia flew down and started peck Machop on the head. Justin raun forward fighting the bird away. Justin raun with Machop back towards home. "Don't worry, Machop. You'll get better at it," he said catching a breath as he flew through the doorway onto the baby blue sofa in the parlor.
"What's all that racket," his father exclaimed as he ran down the stairs in his pajamas.
"Nothing, father," he said as he eyed the open door way. Then he turned towards his father with a phony smile on his face.
"I don't even want to know what happened," he grunted as he picked up the library book on the counter. He shut the front door and sat down in his favorite arm chair to read.
Before Justin's father could even put on his reading glasses, the phone began to ring. After answering it, Justin could tell he was on a buisness call from the research facility. He was a professor's assistant so he didn't more listening than talking. He always made very strange gestures when he was on a buisness call except this time, it was different. He was talking all about the book he found.
"Yes, this book, it might be some of the only artifacts known to the orgin of Darkrai. Should I bring it to the lab...oh...well, if you want to examine it here, that would be fine. I'll see you at my house 2 o clock afternoon...Great! See you then."
Justin sighed as his father threw up his fists. "Justin, guess what?" his father said excitedly.
"You don't have to tell me," Justin said sarcastically. "Everyone knows."
"I know you are upset," his father said, "but this might be the start of something both you and me could be interested in. You were very enthused at the library when we could keep the book."
"I was, but if you keep dragging me along to all these places and you won't take me anywhere to strengthen my Pokemon, you'll be the only one whos making their day." Justin frowned and threw Machop's pokeball up and down in his hands.
"I can't hear this right now. I have to spiffen up the place for Professor Rocket. He's coming over this afternoon and I wanted you to change your clothes into something nice for when he arrives." He put the phone on the reciever and started washing dishes from the night before. With Justin's mom being gone, a lot of things were pushed aside for research. Justin and his father never liked to talk about it.
Time flew by fast and the wall clock struck two before Justin knew it. His father made him change into a striped dress shirt and biege cargo pants. "I wouldn't be suprised if he made me where I suit," he thought to himself as a huge whirring sound struck his ears. Justin ran outside in a hurry just in time to see the air time of a large black helicopter with a big scarlet 'r' painted on it. It came closer and closer, louder and noisier, until it landed at the end of their driveway. "Wow," Justin said as he approached the para-vehicle in awe.
Two muscular men came out of it presenting a moustached man in a black cloak. He looked as though as he was the CEO of the company. Under the cloak was a black suit with a red tie. A large cat strolled his side. It's neck collar was the shape of an 'r'. The man made out a laugh that sound as much as a snarl. "Young thing," he said in a whispy tone. "Where's your guardian?" me muttered.
"uh...," I said thinking of what I should say next.
"Your father, son, your father..." he said growing impatient.
"Mr. Rocket, sir, sorry about my son," said Justin's father. "He had a lack of sleep last night. I wouldn't be suprised if he fell asleep on the spot."
Justin made a scowl. "No, I..." His father motioned him to silence himself which made Justin even more exasperated.
"Please come in," his father said as he straightened out his tie. Everyone except Justin walked into the house.
"I better keep away from all this," Justin said to himself so he sat out on a bench on the garden outside his house. Without his mother maintaining it, with just the sun and rain alone, the beautiful flowers and Lum berry trees as they once were became shriveled up and not very admirable. Justin felt sorry for them as he did for his mother. She sacrificed her life for Justin, saving him from one of the most frightening threats of his childhood. He could've never saved himself since the mysterious Pokemon was strong. In a peculiar way, the mysterious Pokemon looked like Professor Rocket with a black cloak and a vicious sense. The most distinguished characteristic of the mysterious Pokemon was it's red glowing eyes. It was almost like he was trapped inside of him. But he hadn't had his mother with him for almost over 4 years now. It has been some long since it seemed like a distant dream.
After a few hours of analyzing and discussing, Justin's father flew through the door. He ran up to Justin staring at him with a grin that could pierce through a brick wall. Justin trembled in the words his father said next. "We're going on an exploration," he said as the sun was hidden in the clouds. Justin stood there in silence. This was a start to something that he wasn't sure he would favor.

CHAPTER 2
The day flew by quickly. Justin spent the rest of his day packing his suitcase with his clothing, some of his nic nacs, and some potions and spare Pokeballs for his journey. The only positive outcome of going on this journey was being able to catch new Pokemon, but if they were on the go almost all the time, Justin could never be the kid he rightfully was. By nightfall, Justin was exhausted. He flopped on his bed and feel into a slumber the minute he hit the matress. It was already 12 o clock midnight and he would have to wake up again in 5 hours to aboard the S.S Rocket at the Canalave Pier.
There was a harsh storm that night and gale wind whailing against the trees. In the midst of the storm, the Rocket hellicopter was propelling through the sky. It was scaling the plains searching for something. But what was it searching for?
"Floor it!" the professor said as the pilot looked at him in an odd way.
"But the plane doesn't even have a pedal...," the pilot said nervously. "We shouldn't be out in such a..."
"Just speed it up already!" the professor interupted as he uncloaked himself. There you could see his short black hair dew with a long widow's peak dipping down from his forhead.
"But Giovanni..." Giovanni hurled a nasty look at him. "The boss always wins," he whispered under his breath as the plane soared into the dark horizon.
"I'm so glad Mr. Roland found that book! Then we'll catch that powerful Pokemon to become rulers of humans and Pokemon alike," snarled the professor as he let out an evil laugh. "Just if I that Team Galactic doesn't get at it first..." The hellicopter landed on top of a black building with smoke coming out from a large vent on the side. It looked like a factory and it had that familiar symbol, a large red 'r'. Several men greeted the professor as he walked down the ramp. The professor smiled at them and nodded his head and everyone knew things had gone the way they should. During the night, the Rocket crew prepared for the upcoming voyage.
"Time to wake up," Justin's father said softly as he pulled the covers off Justin.
"Ugh...," Justin moaned as he turned over on his back like most tired children.
"I woke up late myself," said his father desperately. "We only have a matter of time before the ship leaves without us."
"Then let's go with that idea," Justin said as he put the pillow over his head.
"You better listen to me, young man," his father said as he realized he was starting to sound like Justin's mother. Justin turned around and stared at him for a few seconds in silence.
"Okay, what are we doing?!" his father grunted as he started tickling Justin's feet. That was Justin's biggest weakness.
"Ha, ha, ha," Justin laughed unbearably until he lost control and slumbered out of bed and hit the floor.
"It isn't too funny now," he thought as he slowly got up. His father left the room and Justin quickly slipped a sweashirt and blue jeans over his pajamas and grabbed his backpack hanging on the bedpost. He jumped every couple stairs and slid into the living room. His father and Justin were out the door before they could hear the first chirp of the Starlys.
"You should be excited," his father said as they walked own the streets. There were never any cars in the city of Canalave. People either road bicycles or sometimes with the many docks in the city, people road on motor boats or on pontoon boats for recreation. "You know we used to take trips all over Sinnoh as the whole family."
"Well, it isn't a family anymore," I said as we approached the main boarding dock with the professor awaiting them on the platform.
His father sighed as they were greeted by the captain and his crew. Professor Rocket smirked as he shook his father's hand. He didn't even bother to shake Justin's. "Something's awfully fishy about that man," he thought to himself as he boarded the large ship.
"I'm so glad you this all came about," snarled the professor with a gleam in his eye.
"Oh, it is no problem at all," answered Justin's father. "When I found the book, I knew that it would come in handy to you."
The professor let out a devious laugh. "Oh yes, it will come in handy," he said as everyone sat down in a leather seated booth on the lower level of the ship. A small overhead lamp provided a dim golden light and that was the only light in the room except for the sun's rays shining through the opening to the main deck. The ship started moving with a large jerk then a steady back and forth across the water.
"I'm going to get sea sick," Justin whispered to his father as he held his hand of his mouth. "We should've took a helicopter instead..." Justin's father didn't even listen to him but just smiled at the professor as the 2 hour journey began to unroll. Before he knew it, Justin was asleep for the entire ride as Justin's father and Professor Rocket discussed the exploration, breaking it down into it's deepest minorities.
With another jerk of the boat, Justin awoke to the sound of fresh tropical air and busy wingulls searching for their breakfast. Justin had forgotten it was only eight 'o' clock in the morning. The ship had landed. As the crew carried the heavy parcels and suitacases off the ship, Justin felt a humid breeze whisp against his clothing. It was much stronger than the night he battled with Chase.
"Okay crew, I would first like to say welcome to New Moon island! We will be on this island for quite a while, only time can tell, so several of you need to started building our base," said Professor Rocket. "Yes sir," several men said as he marched away with the biggest tool box Justin had ever seen. "As for the rest of you men, I want you to stay here while I fetch the exploration plan from the ship. It will be a busy day ahead of us and if any of you slack off or fall asleep on the job, consquences will be given," he said sternly as Justin gulped in fear.
The crew was assigned missions around the island all except Justin who was assigned just to sit by the boat and catch magikarp for the crew's lunch. "That professor drives me up a wall," Justin said to himself as he Magikarp caught his line. "I'm a vegitarian anyway," he grunted to himself as he purposly flung his fishing rod into the water allowing the magikarp to escape. "That's better," he said as he got up leaving the fishing rod in the water, drifting out to sea.
"Buiz, Buiz!"
"Huh?" Justin said alarmed. "Is anyone out there?" The sound repeat itself.
"Buizel, Buiz!" It sounded as though it was marine creature. With all the time Justin had been at the library, he had studied a Pokemon detecting guide, teaching him the sounds of different types of Pokemon.
"Who goes there...," Justin said resembling a mighty king. The creature came up of the brush standing on two legs biting a twig. It was a water woodchuck with expirienced agility and skill. Justin remebered reading about a Pokemon like this and it's name was the same as it's call- Buizel.
"Buizel!" the Pokemon croaked as Justin approached it slowly and carefully. The Pokemon jumped back after Justin was in a few feet of it.
"Don't be scared, Buizel! Meet Machop!" Justin threw his Pokeball and Machop happily sprung out of it. He lingered around the foe sniffing it from every side. Buizel became scared and clawed Machop on the nose. Machop cried and ran to it's trainer.
"Buiz!" Buizel cried and in a troublesome fervor, he burrowed viciously into the sand.
"Buizel, you have to trust me. Pokemon are the only ones who do..." Justin pretened to sniffle and turned around crossing his legs. Buizel popped up from the hole and felt Justin's pain. He then crawled over to Justin and hopped onto his bag.
"Buizie!" he shrilled as he hung over Justin's head staring at him face to face. Machop danced about make foot patterns all along the sand.
"Now if you want to be my Pokemon, we should battle, shouldn't we?" Justin said as Machop and Buizel nodded their heads energetically. Buizel wanted to be Justin's Pokemon and Machop wanted another chance to strive in battle. "Okay, let's do this!" Justin shouted as the Pokemon and the trainer took their positions.
"Machop, use Mach Punch!" Machop took aim and nailed Buizel on the forehead. Buizel almost fell backwards but used Aqua Jet to catch it's fall. "Wow, your stong!" Justin said as he concentrated on his next attack. "Now Machop, use Faint Attack!" Machop bolted in several directions by the foe and then sprung into the foe without any warning leaving the foe in confusion. Buizel wobbled around in a daze while Machop and Justin watched it. "Okay, finish it off with Cross Chop, Machop!" Machop leaped higher than Justin had ever seen him jump and took an intense chop at the foe leaving Buizel on the ground with very little stamina left. "Okay, let's finish this off..." Buizel covered his face and cried. "...with this pokeball!" Buizel looked up and without any force the pokeball capture it without any complications. Justin was pleased and quickly gave Buizel a super potion to relieve Buizel to full health. Machop cheered on Justin's victory.
"Hey, have you been goofing off the entire time?!" a voice roared as Justin trembled in his stance. He quickly turned around seeing a very angry Professor Rocket staring him right in the eye. It looked as though it was a knife only inches away from his eye. Professor Rocket seemed to have that appearence.
"Sorry sir, I did my fishing." Justin just remembered he put threw his rod in the water. The professor stared at him for a minute then went back to his work grumbling. "You can just play around like some kid," he groaned as he clenched his fists until they became red and swollen. Justin still had a clue the professor was hiding something. Justin was suprised his father didn't notice it, then again, his father could've been hiding something as well. "Speaking of my father," he thought, "he's coming up to me right now. I can show him my new Pokemon!" He peered at his father walking along the beach line with sweat rolling down his face. He had no shoes on and his feet looked sore and blistered. He didn't have a smile on his face. He looked grim and Justin could never picture his father with such a look.
"Justin, how are you?" he huffed as he took a large sip from his canteen.
"Fine," Justin answered, "but are you?"
"The professor works me too hard. He made me crawl on my hands and knees in a mucky swamp to search for artifacts and I didn't even get to wear protective gear. Look at my pants." His pants looked as though they had been dipped in the most distasteful choclate ever invented.
"Wow," Justin answered as he let out a sarcastic sigh.
"Now, mister. You haven't been working either," he said as he brushed some of the leaves off that were stuck to his pants.
"You said this would be vacation," I muttered as father realized what he had said.
"I did but you knew it would be more than that," Justin's father said as some of the crew members sluggishly limped back to the main shores were Justin and his father were standing. Some of them looked worse than he did, in fact, most of them did.
"Yeah," Justin agreed to his father's statement as his father suddenly noticed the new Pokemon.
"Oh, you caught a new Pokemon," he said proudly. "Congrats!" Justin smiled as Buizel wiggled out from his arms and started licking his father's pants. Justin cringed as his father started chuckling. Justin started to laugh as well.
"I never knew Buizel ate mud," Justin said as he pet Buizel on the back.
"Pokemon have all sorts of things about them you would never know until it pops out at you. It's how I've discovered most amazing things about this world when I was a child."
"I hope to catch so many more Pokemon on the island," Justin explained. "After I obtain a party of six, battling that Chase won't be any problem!"
"I'd bet!" his father said as Justin and his father walked back into the boat. Evening was approaching and hard day's work called for a large supper. Justin and his father were starving and they hoped the meal would be large and scrumptious. Justin thought back again about his feelings for this father and the vacation the previous night. It wasn't as bad as he thought. This could actually be a real vacation.
-----------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------
CHAPTER 3
"Attention, crew! Please meet at the heart of the island for dinner. Our base is finished, and a Magikarp filet is baking over the fire. Please come immedately." Justin moaned as he picture the creulity of the captain savaging a helpless Magikarp for digestion. His father moaned as he hoisted himself up from a small nap. Justin closed his book as he and his Pokemon leaped off of the deck onto the cushioned sand below. The warmth of the sand reminded him of the dinners his mother used to make. The warm sitrus berry pudding that she used to make flowed through Justin's heart. He missed her cooking and everything about her so much.
"If only I had the chance to save her," he whispered to himself as his father jumped off the boat, helping Justin up. "Hey father," Justin asked. His father looked over at him, and could sense what Justin was about to say. Justin's eyes seemed to light up and hie fingers clenched when he though about his mother. His father always had a knot in his throat before Justin asked a question about her. His father mourned for months after her death.
"Justin..." his father spoke as they trampled across the golden sand with bright rocks glistening in the sunlight. "Your mother is watching us right now. There's no need to worry or talk about it."
"Okay, father. I was just curious...when did you meet her?" His father stopped in his footsteps gazing into the evening sun dispelling beautiful orange rays. A Pidgeotto flew into the palm of the father's hand.
"I met her when I was studying and exploring in the marshes of the pond the east of Cannalave. She was training her Mismagius. She was skillful and used her Mismagius's attacks as though they were the fate of her life. She also had an elagent touch. I remember seeing her Magmisius levitate with an awestruck display of psywaves." Justin imagined his father's past as they walked into the damp forest circling the heart of the island.
"What happened after that father," Justin asked attentively.
"Well, after noticing the affection towards her Pokemon, I asked her to assist me on my research. She was delighted and we worked through day and night examining various trees, a Pokemon's habitual patterns, and other sets of fascinating data. It was not only than a month later that I asked her to marry me. Her ring was only made of a Honchkrow's feathers and a baby Staryu's gem, but she told me it was the most dazzling ring she had ever laid her eyes upon..." Justin watched his father's eyes. They glistened but tears never came. Justin knew his father was holding something back.
As the two stumbled upon an upon clearing beyond the forest, the soft chatter of tired men echoed through the clearing. They stood on the borders of a valley vast with ampfire smoke danced through the sky. Livespring and vegetation were scattered across the fields below with a large Rocket base in the center. A small campfire was beside it with men benched on logs and large rocks. Giovanni was on top lounged on a high mat on the flat-roofted base with a loud speaker in one hand and a clip board across his chest. The two flew down the hill and dashed towards the campsite. Justin never saw his father crave food before as he did just now. Giovanni raised his head and spoke into his loud speaker.
"Okay, now that everyone is here, we can dine on the some of the best Magikarp in the entire island. It's a filet and it's as fresh as can be!" Justin felt as if he was going to purge.
'I can't eat wild animals,' he thought to himself. 'I'll eat all the berries and Sunflora's shedded leaves as you like, Giovanni, but I cannot eat a cute little fish.' Justin sat on the each crossing his arms. He wanted to scowl but he didn't want to disturb the other crew members. They endured hard work all day.
"And along with the meat, we have some steamed Sunkern!"
"YOU MEAN WHOLE?!" Justin blerted out. The entire crew stared at him abnormally. Giovanni walked to the side of the roof ledge and shrugged.
"Yes, it's whole. What's wrong with that? Once you cook them, they're lifeless."
"BECAUSE IT'S A POKEMON! AND IT'S ALIVE!" Giovanni grew fevorous.
"WELL, I've spend hard earned cash on those fish fishing rods and YOU better eat it whether you like it or not! There's nothing else to eat!"
Justin got up and ran as fast as he could. His father didn't understand why Justin would behave in such a manner. He started to sprint after him but he grew tired and out of breath. Justin was too far ahead. "I'm sorry, Giovanni," he called out. "I apoligize. My son is a nature-lover. He would never harm a Pokemon in his life." Giovanni took a deep breath and then a long sigh.
"Well, that boy is probably a mile in the forest. You better look for him. The farther you venture into the jungle, the more dangerous it is," he warned. "Like I care," he whispered under his breath.
A hot air balloon had saw the entire event with a binoculars vanished in the clouds. As they decreased in hieght, the Magby aboard the balloon slowly blew out small puffs of fire. This Pokemon was one of the stolen Pokemon from the habitants of this balloon, Team Rocket minions, Jessie and James. The balloon was shaped like a Meowth which was the mascot of the team. That Pokemon was inside the air balloon as well and was a long time pal of the gang. Many people knew about these villians but never could catch them when it was possible. They always watched and respected their leader, Giovanni, with the hopes of a raise for big cash.
"That kid...I'm glad that he's gone!" chuckled Jessie. She produces an obnoxious evil laugh that penatrated through the sky. "Now we can focus our attention on Giovanni. That raise will be ours!"
"As well as Pika...wait, what Pokemon shall we go for this time?" sniped James.
"That legend Giovanni is searching for to rule the world. Isn't it Dar...Darka...Darkavark?" The two grew puzzled as Meowth solved their problems. During his life in the city, he learned the ability to speak like a human.
"It's Darkrai! Haven't you heard of it? It takes dreams and turns them into nightmares. It morphs the human truth and bends it into lies. It vanishes and reappears into your soul...!" Jessie put her hand over mouth's wandering mouth.
"You bend the human truth. It's a strong Pokemon that gives you nightmares. That's all!" Jessie looked over at James who still couldn't realize their was any truth in Darkrai."
"Jessie gives us nightmares. Their isn't a Pokemon who gives nightmares," yelped James as he tried to backtrack of what he just said.
"I DO NOT GIVE YOU NIGHTMARES!!!!" Jessie shrieked as Meowth and James grabbed parashoot packs and launched themselves down. "OH, SO THAT'S HOW YOUR GOING TO FACE YOUR FEARS! I'LL SEND MAGBY DOWN WITH YOU!"
Jessie realized her actions and screamed. The air balloon pummeled into the trees with nothing to carry or steer it. Jessie moaned as James and Meowth hovered to the ground pleased. Magby landed on Jessie shooting flames everywhere.
"Meowth, James, a little help here?" Jessie moaned. James and Meowth quickled untangled the mess of trees and vines clenching her like a child craving a piece of candy. "Thank you, I guess," Jessie grumbled as she tripped over the vineage falling flat on her face. "Oooo....," she moaned as the two helped her up. The sun had just about vanished in the horizon. Night had just begun.
"JUSTIN!" His father screamed this several times as he sat down on a log hopeless. There was no answer. "My son," he cried. "It was all my fault for bringing him to this death trap in the first place." He was picturing Giovanni in his mind. "Working for that villian of a man was the worst thing I had ever done." He stood up and limped through the forest.
He came to a rippling stream with the light of the moon reflecting against it. He took out a sleeping bag from from his backpack and laid it out on the hard forest floor. He took out a lanturn and began reading a book. His eyes grew tired and he fell asleep. He knew the only step he could take is to wait until morning.
The lone child crept through the woods clenching his pokeballs tightly in the palms of his hands. He grew worried, as he saw the moon taking it's shift. He knew he was lost and how careless of a decision it was to dash off at night. He knew his father was worried sick.
"Moah!" A voice echoed in the darkness. Justin could hear the rustling of the bushes and became tense and alert. The sound repeated itself and Justin was prepared for a Pokemon battle.
"Who's there?" he shouted, as he heard the same wail but from above. Justin peered above and saw a figure on top of a tree branch. It's appearence was hardly visible; it almost looked as it were part of the shadows. Justin shrieked as the figure lunged toward him. Justin covered his head and felt nothing. He sighed in relief but felt very dizzy and unusual.
BOOMF! Justin hit the ground. The figure carried Justin off and swept up into the moonlight. The moon was clear and the stars were bright, and all was completely serene like a midsummer night.
