Revolving Meganiums

Here's an idea for that pesky prime you got two many of:

Meganium prime + Dodrio for free retreat. Its got a lot of HP, so when you're about to die, move the energy to a meganium/baleef/chickorita, retreat meganium, seeker it, and plop the evolution right back down.

Meganium + expert belt does 100 damage and has 170 HP so it should be pretty good as a tank. And you can use metapod to cover your weakness if needed.

you could also use lucians to move energy around to another megainium/chickorita befre you seeker to heal

You could use it with Blissey Prime and move the energies, heal, then move energies back. This way you don't have to waster your supporter for that turn. However... Power Spray. Vileplume maybe?

@mlouden03: the whole point of using meganium is that energy move is free and unlimited. You don't need lucians.

@ShadowDark: Thats an interesting though, but you're likely to need to pick up blissey to use it next turn anyway, so it doesn't buy you much.

I feel bad for meganium, the least used between the three feraligatr and typhlosion. Ive been thinking of a way to use it too but cant really find any.

blissey does sound good though.

My brother plays Meganium with Blissey and it woks well. It goes with sunflora and Metapod to keep it alive. And Meganium works with Expert belt. Meganium is my favorite, Typhlosion is a little over-rated and Feraligatr is a bit threatening.

Shaymin Land form Lv X could help as can Cherrim.

You could also try Celebi Prime for faster energy accel.

i dont think celebi would work because he has to be active and he also needs phychic to attack. also with only 60 he can get OHKOed very very easily. i would think leafeon x but hes kind of hard to get.

You dont use Celebi Prime to attack. You use it for its Power. You can attach an extra grass energy to one of your pokemon.

^Celebi needs to be active for its 'Power, too.

How about this:

1. Retreat/Warp Meganium to the bench. Use it's power to move all energies to active Celebi. Use Celebis power, attach to Celebi, Seeker up the Meganium, play it back down via. BTS, Meganiums power to move all energies back to a Meganium, and retreat the Q'd Celebi.

2. Leaf trans all energies to benched Grass Pokemon, SSU Meganium. Sent out Celebi, use it's power, BTS down the Meganium, retreat Q'd Celebi.

3. Use the Blissey trick.

I would definately consider adding in Landmin Lv.x which will give meganium an extra 40hp. This means massive tanking abilities, use it instead of expert belt to give Meganium 190HP or use it with expert belt to make it have a whopping 210HP!
Definately include sunflora and metapod, with shaymin X in play they are all out of sniping distance. Also shaymin's attack seed flare lets you attach as many energy from your hand to your pokemon which works great with meganium as you give it a lot of energy to then work with.
