Here are two videos by an amazing new band. They're both mash-up videos of multiple songs. I highly recommend this band to everyone!

"Don't Stop the Sandman" by Rock Sugar

This one is a mash-up of "Don't Stop Believing'" by Journey and "Enter Sandman" by Metallica.

"We Will Kickstart Your Rhapsody" by Rock Sugar

This one is a mash-up of "Bohemian Rhapsody" and "We Will Rock You" by Queen and "Kickstart My Heart" by Mötley Crüe.

Their album is called Reimaginator and has 13 (including these two) tracks just like this on it. I'm supporting this band like crazy, and I ask you to do the same if you enjoy their music.

They're nothing special because they didn't actually write the songs. Metalicca or Journey could do that themselves.

Its harder to make a mashup (that sounds good) than you think it is.

This.

You're not looking at all the good in it, ArceusShayminLovr.

The singers are spot on. They are very close to the originals, and that's not just in this song.

Their instrument tone is spot on. While not all too special, a lot of the time a cover song is ruined just by the fact that the singers and the instrument tone aren't close enough to the original.

The way the songs are mashed-up together. Think about it. There's a thousand-million different ways to ruin mash-up or cover song, but they did it the one way that it actually flows smoothly and goes good together.

It doesn't matter if Journey and Metallica could do it or not, because they won't. These people did what they set out to do and they did an amazing job at it.

So yeah, they didn't write all of the material themselves. But it's not like they're the first band to do a cover or two.... or 13. :p

I've heard tons of mash-ups because my cousin started a band a few years ago. Trust me, "Rock-Sugar" isn't that great. There are tons of mash-up bands out there that people just haven't heard that are just as good or even better.
