I havent been able to find an answer to this one...

There's a Roserade card with the Poke-Power 'Energy Signal', where if you attach one {G} or one {P} Energy this turn from your hand, depending on the Energy, the opponent Pokemon will become either Confused or Poisoned. Which condition takes effect when you use a Rainbow Energy card?

Well, actually my question isn't so much as to which one as to why? I can't see that it would be both, but from everywhere I've read, you don't choose what Energy the Rainbow Energy card is giving to a Pokemon.

...I swear you are the 15th person to ask this who didn't read the FAQ first.

Q. If I attach a Rainbow Energy (or Multi Energy) to my Roserade UL for its Energy Signal Poke-Power, is the Defending Pokemon Confused, Poisoned, both, or neither?

A. The Defending Pokemon becomes Confused and Poisoned, as Rainbow Energy is an energy card that provides both types of those energy. (In the case of Multi Energy, though, it can't have any other Special Energy cards attached or it will not work.)

The reason it is both is because when the Rainbow/Multi/Whatever Energy comes into play, it provides ALL types of energy at the same time.
