How can I tell for sure that a rainbow energy triggers 2 conditions with a rainbow energy? When I go to league play, I don't want people bugging me and saying "Hey, that's not a real rule." Please help someone!

It counts as both types of Energy while in play.~Mark
When you attach the Rainbow Energy, at that moment, it provides every type of Energy at once. Since it provides Grass, it provides that half of the effect. Since it also provides Psychic, it also provides that half. This is also the case with Vileplume LA's Energy Reaction Poke-Power.
