i won second at state and we all pretty much know the prizes... anyway, so i got my booster box and when i open all 32 packs funny thing, i only got 2 EX's and not a single shiny pokemon, anyone else have the same luck? i find that just a little bit weird

What set box? If it's Holon Phantoms/Delta Species, it makes sense. Otherwise... no.

A box has an average of 3 ex. But if it is HP or DS you actually were lucky because they normally have about 1. There is only one star in every 3 boxes.
By the way shouldn't there be 36 booster packs? Or do other countries only have 32?

There's only one Shining per 3 boxes, unless they changed it. So it's not that weird..

In 3 box only one shiny this is very dificult to get.
You think your unlucky..... Excluding the exs from the b-l-s deck that was used in worlds, ( i always buy the world championship decks) i only have 5 ex's. 1st was chansey ex, but lost it. Next was raichu ex, still got it. THen Blaziken ex (tmvta) my favourite card! Then came groundon ex, cg and after i got ho-oh ex from the tin. I thought the tin with ho-oh had milotic in aswell, but i never got one! Just ho-oh ex, pop3. My only * was fromthe worlds deck. So you may think thats good?
Not when you have over 3000 cards! 5:3000 is a tiny ratio, almost nothing. You would think for so many cards you would get more. However, i do have 6 exs from the worlds deck, but anyone can buy that deck for £8, so i dont call it luck, apart from the shop not being sold out, (lol i got the last one)

Heh. A total of 1 EX in about 38 boosters. Maybe more. I might not have gotten a box yet, but you still probably had EX's before that.
ive gotten at least a box of power keepers cards and havent gotten a single ex but who cares? itd be cool but it really doesnt matter
I've opened around 40 packs or something, still only 1 ex pulled from 1 of them, the rest are trades....that's bad luck!
Did I mention that all are not fit for trading unless I give half my deck away?
