I use an Empostar. Metagame??? GG, G&G, Plox, Etc, which are variants of Gardevoir and gallade secret wonders. Half of the people play that. and it sucks. No rogue at the moment can beat it. Hope the Japanese crush them at worlds, whit the new sets.
I use empoleon/bronzong. Doesn't everyone know the meta-game G/G and PLOX DUH i hate it (not to be rude). ^ i agree there is no rouges that can beat G/G or PLOX go Japan
just so people know whats the point in using a deck that everyone is using that just takes the fun out of a fun battle in a few turns the match is over all you did was use a few moves and your oppent had nothing to do ecept watch there team they built die by a deck some one found online a threw together with no stratagy at all
what happend to making fun decks that are effective well i play empoleons for large events (im so bad) and i play fun decks for battle roads like i played shiftry ex good times good times
Well, when you can legitametly get the prizes at the end of the tourney, why not use PLOX or whatever. And maybe Gardy/gallade is someone's favorite Poke, so they want a deck with it...
This year at nats I could have played PLOX and got into top cut easily.
But I just couldn't bring myself to do it and played skittles instead.
If I make up a deck and then more people start playing it and it becomes a meta staple I'll keep playing it, but I'd never use a deck that is just meta already and that I didn't think of.
I guess I am a bit of both, but to he completely honest I am probably more of a meta-game kinda person.
I run Empostar. I have never run G&G or any of its variations and I don't intend to, but if I have the cards to make a really good deck I am not just going to put together some random cards and claim that "I play Pokemon for fun". Of course I play Pokemon for fun. That doesn't mean I can't use a good deck.
