I was at the store a few days ago and saw a box pokemon rumble cards.
Are they played differently? Are the tuornament legal? What are the cards? I would would be very happy if someone answered.
 
Yes, Pokemon rumble is a board like game. It really has almost nothing to do with the Pokemon TCG. Yes, the cards inside are tournament legal, and they are just special rumble promos with the graphics of the video game. The cards suck though.
 
The only somewhat playable ones are Mewtwo and Venusaur.
Please note that I said SOMEWHAT.
If you're looking for something different than the regular TCG but shares similarities, this is the thing for you. It's pretty enjoyable for just $10.
