Hello guys! Comming back more or less a year later (I've been a bit out of competitive). I want to play Sableye/Garbodor in Expanded 2019, as I like this deck and control/energy denial style. I've found the toy that I needed for this deck in Garbodor GRI (nothing new for you all), but it seems that I've missed it's best moment (Puzzle of Time).
Could someone tell me how does the deck perform against the most common threats in Expanded (and which are these threats), feedback around match ups, or anything else? I'm testing it in PTCGO and while it does great, I've lost some matches due to not being able to have Garbotoxin ready on time.
I can share my decklist if you want, maybe it's a good way to improve it. I have my first expanded League Cup in two weeks and the only feedback that I have other than PTCGO is a League Challenge I attended last week where I finished in fourth place (2 wins (Ninetales/Amoongus and Espeondor) - 2 draws (Flareon/Zoroark and Toxapex GX/Malamar) - 0 loss).
