Ruling Salamence SF + Rainbow Energy

hello,
I have a question about Salamence SF

I have my Drattak, it has a Rainbow Energy, for example, and the need to launch the attack Stream Twister.

Discard a {R} Energy and a {W} Energy attached to Salamence

If I discard the rainbow, does that discards energy fire water and energy at a time (since the rainbow provides both), or is it only discards only one card ?

I refer to this ruling:
Q. When using Houndoom's "Black Fire" attack, what happens if I discard an Energy card that provides multiple types of Energy at the same time?
A. If the Energy card you discarded provides all types (for example, Rainbow Energy), then both effects would trigger - the "Black Fire" attack would to 70 damage AND apply the Burned Special Condition to the Defending Pokemon. (DP:Great Encounters FAQ; Feb 21, 2008 PUI Rules Team)

and with Memory Berry, can I use Bagon's attack for zero Energy with Salamence's Poké-Body ??

That was really hard to understand. Are you saying you only have to discard one card if it is a rainbow energy?

Just one Rainbow Energy will do the trick.

EDIT: Oh, he made a typo. He meant energy, not card.

Wow. Thats really good then. i can't believe I haven't seen more salamence decks taking advantage of that.

Actually Zyflair is wrong. It says to discard a Water Energy AND a Fire Energy, or a rainbow energy + a fire/water energy etc.

Really? Sheesh, I really need to check myself.

Houndoom's text says Fire or Dark Energy, while Salamence says Fire and Water. Rainbow Energy can count for one of the Energy discard requirements, but you would need to discard another card in addition to Rainbow.

dmaster out.
