Could I use a Professor Juniper or Cheren in Standard? I'm just making sure, I assume that a different name means its a different card (non-reprint).

Different name, different card. Juniper and Cheren are not legal in Standard.
In Expanded, you can use both Cheren and Tierno in the same deck (up to four of each), but only either Juniper or Sycamore - you can't mix them, even if it's fewer than four total copies.
