Ruling Sand Damage Help

if my Dark Tyranitar or Flygon δ is my active pokemon.... if i attack, does sand damage take effect or not...

What it says? Between Turns. So, yes.

Sand Damage's effect happens after all effects of attacks have been resolved, in the between turns stage. You don't have to attack to have the body work, it will work as long as Dark Tyranitar or Flygon ex are your Active Pokémon and no other cards in play would turn it off (like Cessation Crystal).
