Sawy586's Battle Strategy Zone
Strategy list (Most recent on top):
Regigigas/Shuckle
(Double Battle) This Double Battle strategy is meant to cancel out Regigigas's Slow Start problem. For starters, send out Shuckle (holding Quick Claw) and Regigigas at the same time. Have Shuckle use Gastro Acid (learned at Level 40) on Regigigas, and have Regigigas use an attack on an opponent's Pokémon. Shuckle will hopefully use Gastro Acid before any other Pokémon can attack, letting Regigigas smash its way into an opponent with a move like Crush Grip before the recieving Pokémon can react. This strategy is not perfect, however, and may fail to go first. Either way, whether Shuckle goes first or not, Regigigas's Slow Start is canceled, with the massive Pokémon "getting its act together" on the first turn rather than the fifth.
This strategy has been tested by me.
Vaporeon/Lapras
This strategy is about healing. Vaporeon and Lapras should be sent out at the same time, both knowing the move Surf. Lapras MUST have the ability Water Absorb! If it has Shell Armor, this strategy will NOT work! Both Pokémon will use Surf on the same turn, multiple turns in a row. Both Pokémon will get hit by the other's Surf attack, healing them of damage. This strategy is helped by using PP Ups on both Pokémon beforehand and/or having them hold Leppa Berry. A similar tactic would be Flash Fire and Lava Plume or Volt Absorb and Discharge.
This strategy has been tested by me.
Every once in a while, I'll post a strategy or two up here, designated for Single or Double Battle (shown in parentheses before strategy description). If you have a request for me to post your strategy here, just PM me or send me an E-mail at [email protected] and I might post it.
