I'm currently working on a Scizor-GX deck.

Can you help me modify it to make it more consistent?

This decklist looks great, but I have a couple questions:

First, why are you using the CLS Registeel? The only thing this could be good against is Gardevoir with either shrine or Choice Band, but you are already in favor in that matchup and gardy isn't going to be a good deck since it lost all of its power with gallade, draw with octillery, and setup with brigette.

Second, Why Drampa? It's not a bad tech, but I think something like Zoroark GX would work better. What do you think?

How would Zoroark benefit this deck? A few people have suggested that, but I don't know how it would combo with Scizor.

He's the best draw engine pokemon in the game, as simple as that. If you want something, Zoroark will get it especially with CLS Magcargo.

Oh okay. I'll see if I can fit him in. I only have access to a 1-1 Zoroark line, however.

I put in Registeel because I need a one prize attacker. however, I was thinking of removing one and adding in a baby Dusk Mane Necrozma
I play a lot against my friends and the decks i struggle the most against are Gardi-Sylveon decks and a Alolan Ninetails decks.

I would recommend getting rid of shrine of punishment all together as it hurts you as well. Max out your counts of ultra ball and Best ball. I would ask get rid of drampa gx and add 2 enhanced hammers in their place. Get rid of 1 dhelmise, your bench space is limited and adding 3 will practially full up your bench. Add a prism star solgaleo in its place

Do you recommend any other GX pokemon as a partner for Scizor.

I wasn't planning on filling up my bench with 3 Dhelmise. I wanted to have two at least, but the third is just so I can draw it sooner or a backup in case one of them is my prize.

Registeel is necessary against hoopa for sure.

I also wouldn't be afraid to stuff this deck full of items like Acro bike, as this deck is uniquely good against Garbodor. Steel wing+frying pan+ resistance is -80 before factoring in items.

I was thinking of adding some more frying pan and a couple of acrobikes. Don't know what I should remove though.

I just want it to be able to take on a Rayquaza/Vikavolt gx deck.

Cut two Dhelmise for a 1-1 Garb line, switch 4 metal for 4 unit, hope you can get a Trashalanche knockout?

Cut Drampa, add another 1-1 Garb line, cut shrine for more consistency items.

Unit energy also opens Dhelmise so it can attack

I said it was Trashalanche?
My bad, I didn't know that was the name of his move lol.

Garb will be more of an end game attacker, as it depends on the amount of tool cards my opponent uses.
Scizor is also a mid-late game attacker as it will take a few turns to set up.

What would you recommend early game setup/attacker pokemon?

I've played against a pretty good version of this deck in a league challenge. All you really need to do is get a Scizor plopped down with an energy or two and deny KOs. The idea is to restrict play by discouraging them from playing item cards or attacking (using scizor's danger perception) the damage output is lackluster at first, but it can snowball. You want to control the board as much as possible. If your opponent can't OHKO or plays suboptimally with items, you'll probably have a pretty good time

That's a pretty cool strategy. I'll test it out and see how it goes.
I appreciate your assistance! :D

IF you want to be able to contest Ray Ray you need 4 metal frying pan minimum to reduce it's absurd damage and you need Choice Band to get OHKO so if the magearna that can swap tools is still standard add a copy for the shrines or drampas.

Shrine of Punishment is a GREAT idea for powering up Scizor GX's Last Chance Chop! If I ever play this deck I'll be sure to include it!
