Scizor Prime/Umbreon

The Yoshi

This is a follow-up to my last post about Scizor Prime and some ideas for it. Last night I made a quick deck change and ditched a Skarmory UD for an Azelf LA. Since playtesting, I have realized Azelf has helped me out, including one time where both of my Uxies were prized, and with an Azelf I got one out. It also helps to know what is in my prizes in general, so I can rearrange them and decide what I want to pick. So let me know what you think!

Scizor Prime

3-3 Scizor Prime
3-2 Umbreon UD
1 Espeon Prime
3 Jirachi RR
2 Uxie LA
1 Azelf LA
1 Shaymin UL
Total Pokemon:20

4 Bebe's Search
3 Lucian's Assignment
4 Pokemon Collector
2 PONT
3 Seeker
1 Copycat
1 Warp Point
2 Switch
1 Conductive Quarry
2 Pokemon Communication
1 Flower Shop Lady
1 Palmer's Contribution
1 Twins
Total T/S/S:25

6 Basic Metal Energy
4 Special Metal Energy
2 Special Darkness Energy
1 Darkness Energy
2 Rescue Energy
Total Energy:15

Strategy: The basic strategy is to tank with Scizor. Skarmory is for massive energy acceleration, and after a few turns, the usually slow Scizor is ready to attack. Umbreon UD makes for a great combo to stall and lock, and Espeon Prime is great against Machamp to copy Umbreon(although Machamp SF has no Powers or Bodies). Shaymin RULES, it has saved me so many times to move the energy, then switch to another Scizor. There are staples in here, as you can see, and to avoid being mirrored badly, I put in 6 metal(Basic) and 1 Darkness(Basic).

One thing: I think I should only play either FSL or Palmer's to put in room or something like Luxury Ball, and I'm liking Palmer's, since it is up to 5, and in any combo. So let me know what you think!

Edit on 1/27/11: Thanks HorribleGhost!

I have tried running a build similar to this and I believe that eevee or scyther would be a fine starter compared to skarmory bacuase of the uselessnes of skarmory lategame

I still have a deck similar to this. I don't know how they work in your deck but I took out my Skamorys because they never did much for me. If they haven't been pushing you towards winning a game they could probably go.

Has the Espeon been doing enough for you to warrant it's placement? To get it set up you need to have that and an Umbreon set up, and it might just be easier to run another Umbie.

Yeah you might be able to drop a Twins. a Twins really shines best in a deck that doesn't plan on KOing a lot of Pokemon like any lost decks. Some cards you might consider running are expert belts (those on a scizor with special metal energies are a sturdy wall with a lot of bite. You can always switch it and Seeker it back into your hand if it's about to lose to avoid the prizes). I also just recently added the RR Jirachi to my deck and it's been working really well for me. It really speeds things up early game and it's attack is cheap. Same with Sableye SF, I've donked with it before for a win, and it really gets your game started fast.

I agree with everyone that Skarmory must go. I think Jirachi RR is the best choice, but Espeon is mainly for Machamp matchups, because Umbreon cries when it sees Machamp SF(not Prime, obviously).
