Screen Protector and Cases for Cell Phone

Hi, I wasn't sure wether this went under the Technological Discussion or not, so I went ahead and made this.

I have a non-touch-screen AT&T slide-up phone. I don't know the exact details, but it's a nice phone and I really like it. It's screen can get kinda dirty from my pocket and etc. My question is:

Do you guys think it would be worth buying a screen protector, and if so, are there any ones made for this type of phone? (smaller screen, rectangular, vertical slide-up)

And are there any cases made for phones like this, because it might be nice to have a case for it so I don't have to worry about it.

I would recommend a screen protector. It can get hard to read if your screen is all scratched up. I know Walmart sells universal type screen protectors. I think you just cut it to fit.
 
I don;t have one, and have scratches on it. It doesn't make it hard to see, but if it's an expensive phone, you should get one.
 
I just got a case for my iPhone 4s this week. It's ok.
I got it from one of those venders at malls. Like the little carts full of cases? The guy running the thing was Indian, and he could barely speak engrish. But it was cool because you could barter with him and get a $25 case down to like $14.
 
In my opinion, you really don't need cases or screen protectors unless you have an expenisve phone that you really care about. I had a non touch screen keyboard Verizon phone, it was reintroduced to the concrete so many times over the course of two years, yet it didn't suffer any major damage, spare scratches on the screen and paint chipping off on the back. I'd just say to be carefull with your phone and a case/screen protector aren't really neccesary.
 
Hmmmm I have a touch screen phone...I had a screen protector on it and it was all rainbows and sunshine and then the screen protector came off and suddenly my phone took up a new hobby of rock diving. My screen is so scratched now...thank goodness I have an upgrade soon :D. Screen protectors are worth it for any touch screen phone...srsly
 
Ebay and Amazon are your best bets. It's worth getting both, as often you'll see a case + protector bundle for only a few dollars.
