Ruling searching for pokemon lv x

Anything that says to search for a "Pokemon" can get a Level X. Level X cards are Pokemon.
For cards prior to DP, anything that says to search for a "Basic Pokemon or Evolution card" can get a Level X. This is a special provision from the rulebook. Older cards that say "Basic Pokemon or Evolution card" should be treated as if they said simply "Pokemon" (and thus fall under the first rule). But note that it must say BOTH "Basic Pokemon" AND "Evolution". Just one or the other will not allow you to get a Level X.
Based on that, you should be able to figure out for yourself which cards can get a Level X.
