Ruling Searching TRAINERS Noob Question!

So I have a question mainly about Girafarig (MT)'s attack called crane neck. It says I can search for a trainer and put it into my hand. I know I may look for a trainer, but I'm confuses about the old supporters that say "TRAINER" in the top left corner of the card. May I look for those cards too or no? May i search for that one trainer and immediately play it from my hand? thanks

You can only search for trainers with Giraf's attack because it is affected by the trainer/supporter/stadium split. So even if an old supporter says trainer, if the card in question was made in a set that came after dp, then it can NOT search for supports or stadiums. And once your attack's effect has ended, so has your turn, so you can't play the card you search for until next turn.

Now, Mawile CG on the other hand, is a Pre DP era card, and therefore isn't a fected by the trainer split, and can search for any card that would've been considered a trainer before DP.
