Semi-Newbie deck help. Poor Man's Eelektrik OR Poor Man's Gothielle/Reuniclus

Hello, I'm relatively new to the current arc (Haven't played since Fossil). I was going to post this in Training Facility, but this seemed more appropriate.
Before you read this, please keep in mind my card stock is relatively limited currently as I'm still slowly getting back into the game. I tried to make the best deck I thought I could with what I did have and I'm now just looking for more experienced players in the current format to help me out with suggestions. Anyways, here's the deck list with a few notes:

POKEMON (18)
3 Tynamo (1 40hp and 2 30hp)
4 Chinchou
1 Lanturn Prime ( I only own one :( )
2 Lanturn
3 Eelektrik
3 Thundurus
2 Zekrom

Supporter (12)
3 Sage's Training
3 Professor Oak's New Theory
2 Engineer's Adjustments (Toyed with Cheren or this, couldn't decide really)
2 N
2 Professor Juniper

Trainer (15)
4 Pokemon Communication
3 Dual Ball (poor man's pokemon collector)
3 Junk Arm (Considering 4)
2 Super Rod
2 Switch
1 Pokemon Catcher (Only own one for now)

Energy (15)
15 Electric Energy

Now ideally I'd like to play a Zone/Eel deck, however I just don't have the money to shell out for Zones or really the card stock probably to trade for any. And obviously I'd like to have more than one Lanturn Prime which I will hopefully be able to work towards via trade eventually.
Also to give background on what cards I DO have, the cards I've received or purchased was I bought a box of Unleashed as well as a smattering of random BW, EP, or NV boosters or gift boxes/tins that I received as gifts. I am also receiving a booster box of EP and NV as a xmas gift so that will hopefully not only help me have more card choices to choose from for the deck but also to trade for better cards.

So, please help me the best you can. Thank you so much.

RE: Semi-Newbie deck help. Lanturn/Eelektrik

Where are your Chinchou? Unless you mean those 2 Lanturn are Chinchou. You current list right now is very good.

Either way there would be no problem with dropping the Lanturn completely. Focusing on just Thundurus/Eelektrik/Zekrom is a deck in itself. You may have a bad match-up against {F} decks but throwing in 1 or 2 Tornadus would help to fight back though the only {F} deck you'll ever run into is Donphan Prime, though that's mainly in trainer lock decks. What you really need now are some Eviolite as that reduces the recoil damage from Zekroms Bolt Strike and it takes 20 less damage from any attacks in general which is very good for surviving hits. You have a choice between using either N or Prof Oak's New Theory, botth isn't really needed.

-2-1 Lanturn Prime
-2 Engineer's Adjustment
-2 N
-1 Super Rod (with Junk Arm you can cut back on a few trainers)
-1 {L} Energy
(-9)

+1 Juniper
+3 Eviolite
+2 Plus Power
+1 Pokemon Catcher
+1 Junk Arm (in this deck running 4 is always the best choice)
+2 *Insert card here* (this space is for you to put whatever you like)

If you feel like you need to add Tornadus to counter {F} decks then you may want to consider dropping a couple {L} energy for Double Colorless Energy. As for those 2 open spaces there are a few suggestions i would make

*Pokegear 3.0 (Help to search out supporters)
*Dual Ball (Maxing this out is always a nice thing to do to ensure you get 2 Tynamos quickly)
*Pokemon Collector (A sure way of getting 3 Basic Pokemon)
*Tynamo (a 4-3 Eelektrik can be nice to increase the chances of a turn 2 Eelektrik)
*Energy Retrieval (Because sometimes you may need a {L} energy in your hand a apposed to the discard pile)

RE: Semi-Newbie deck help. Lanturn/Eelektrik

Sorry, I left the 4 Chinchou off on my list.

So dropping Lanturn part plus cards you suggested dropping would be taking out 13 cards total.

Would you suggest adding in a 4th Thundurus if I'm to focus on that? Eviolite seems like a viable option once I get my NV box, same with Pokemon Catcher. I like the idea of using Tornadus as a counter against Fighting, so I may consider that. Once I can get my hands on some Collectors I would love to sub those in for the Dual Balls.Unsure of the 4th Tynamo but not opposed to the idea of it, but I will toy around with all the ideas you've given me. Thank you so much :)

RE: Semi-Newbie deck help. Lanturn/Eelektrik

Okay using Empoleon's pointers I ended up with this:

Pokemon (13)
4x Thundurus
2x Zekrom
4x Tynamo (3/1)
3x Eeelektrik

Supporters (9)
3x Professor Oak's New Theory
3x Sage's Training
3x Professor Juniper

Trainers (23)
4x Pokemon Communication
4x Junk Arm
3x Dual Ball (Will be Collectors once I get them)
3x Eviolite
3x Pokemon Catcher
2x Switch
2x PlusPower
1x Energy Retrieval
1x Super Rod

15x Electric Energy

Note: This is just what I currently have, I am expecting 4x Pokemon Collectors soon to replace the Dual Balls

I wanted to add on that I have also been toying with a Poor Man's Gothielle Reuniclus deck. And was wondering which of my two poor man decks would be better?

Gothielle deck I was thinking of would be:

POKEMON (19)

4x Gothia
2x Gothoria
3x Gothielle (A)
3x Solosis
2x Duosion
2x Reuniclus
2x Zekrom
1x Tornadus

Supporters (7)
3x Professor Oak's New Theory
3x Cheren
1x Professor Juniper

Trainers (21)
4x Pokemon Communication
4x Junk Arm
3x Dual Ball (Until I get Collector)
3x Rare Candy (only own 3)
3x Pokemon Catcher
2x Max Potion
2x Switch

Energy (13)
10x Psychic
3x Double Colorless

Just looking for an opinion on which deck would be better and also advice. Again, I have limited card stock so please keep that in mind while giving advice :) Thank you.
