How to set up your very own shop in PokéBeach's Selling Forum.
Before you begin doing anything in the Trading Corner or it's sub-forums, please be sure to read the Trading rules here.
Selling Rules:
For the Selling and Want to Buy forums.
1. In order to sell, you need to be approved by the PokéBeach staff which can be done by filling out the application form in the Verified Sellers Thread and sending it to [smod]omahanime[/smod]. You may NOT sell on PokéBeach without being approved as a PokéBeach Verified Seller first. You will be temporarily banned if you offer/try to sell without being verified. Read the requirements in the verified sellers thread.
2. No selling in the main Trading Forum (Trading Corner) whatsoever. The main forum is to be for trading only. Selling should take place in your shop in the Selling Forum. You are also allowed to sell to people by posting replies in the Want to Buy forum. However, You may link to your shop thread in your trade thread and you may link to your trade thread in your shop.
3. You are only allowed to have two threads in the Selling Forum at once and one shop thread. With this privilege, you are asked that you keep them up to date.
4. You are only allowed to have only one wants thread in the Want to Buy Forum.
5. Shipping is up to you. If you decide to charge for shipping as a shop keeper, you may. There are several different ways you could go about this, so look around and get some ideas. Whatever you decide, your shipping policies should be easily visible in your shop. Please do not overcharge/price gouge for shipping. (ex: $5 to ship one card) Also, We recommend for shipments of items of high value that you put delivery confirmation and/or insurance on the package.
6. In a money transaction, the buyer sends payment first. Unless it is a partial trade and the seller agrees otherwise.
7. A verified seller may accept or refuse any method of payment they want.
Recommended methods of payment are:

- Concealed cash and money orders provide a good alternative to those who aren’t able to get a PayPal account.
Buying Rules:
For the Selling and Want to Buy Forums.
1. Do not buy what you cannot afford. If you need money for more important matters, such as paying rent, then do not commit your money to a seller on this site! If you accept an offer to buy someone's item, you are expected to pay, so think about it before you commit to buy something here. Those who offer to buy something and back out on a seller will receive a temporary ban.
2. If you buy from someone that isn't a Verified Seller, both you and the person you bought from will receive a temporary ban. Don't try and use the excuse that you didn't know because you were supposed to read and understand all the rules.
3. We ask that you only make offers to buy in a seller's shop thread. Remember, selling is not allowed in the Trading forum.
Verified Sellers:
Verified Sellers are the main reason as to why we've added so many new things to the Trading Corner. An explanation of how you can become one and it's benefits are located below.

Verified Seller Benefits:
- PM Box upgraded to a 1500 message limit.
- Privilege to set up your own shop in the Selling Forum.
- Ability to respond to threads in the Want to Buy Forum.

What You're Allowed to Sell:
- Trading Cards (Mainly Pokemon, however we do ask other cards to be kept to a minimum.)
- TCG Accessories (Includes Dicebags, Playmats, etc.)
- Pokemon Collectibles (Plushies, Figures, Merchandise etc.)
- Handheld Electronics (iPods, Game Boy, Nintendo DS, etc.)
- Video Games
While selling these items, please be sure you state the exact condition (sealed, new, mint, near mint, tags off, slightly worn, etc.) so that it avoids future problems. We also suggest that when selling you provide a picture.
