shadowless box

Hi.
How can i tell if one of the sealed base set booster boxes that I have is shadowless? It doesn't have the first edition logo on it.

I am guessing they mean like the shadowless boosters but a whole box of them. I have no idea how to tell if a box is shadowless or not. I have never seen one.

After the first edition print of Base Set (I think it was after first edtion), there was another special print which has been called "shadowless" or "2nd edition". Basically, they are similar to the normal ones, but, IMO, have slightly different font or size and have slightly darker pictures.
Also, the only way of telling if the box is shadowless or not is if the Charizard picture on the box is the same as that on the Base Set card.
Sorry if this information isn't that good, but it's the best I can do.
 
When the base set scans were put up on here didn't they use the shadowless cards? Have a look at them i you are confused about what shadowless is and you will see it has no shadow on the right. I thought the shadow on the right was created because the shadowless ones did not stand out and the shadow gave the picture more definition. So surely this meant they came first? I am not sure.
