Ruling Sharpedo SW Questions, Post Now, Because they are not answered

Hi I have a few questions about the card below.

1. Would its attack prevent the damage reduction of DRE or add damage from Sp. Dark energy?

2. Would Buffer Piece or Drake's Stadium reduce damage from its attack?

3. If my opponent had Unown G attached would it prevent the attack going through Resistance, Bodies, or Powers, and prevent it from doing the extra damage if they have Damage on them already?

This is all I can think of at the moment.
If I can think of anything else I will post as soon as possble.

1. It only negates the effects that are on the DEFENDING Pokemon. Meaning DRE and Sp Dark still keep their effects on Sharpedo.

2. No.

3. Not certain on this one. My guess would be that it would, but do not pin me on it.

No. Unown G only prevents effects done to that Pokemon. Damage calculations (and the things that apply to them) aren't done to that Pokemon.

Q. If the Defending Pokemon has a Holon Energy WP and a basic Water energy attached, does it prevent the prize flipping portion of Gallade's "Psychic Cut"?
A. No. You can still flip up the prize cards and increase the amount of damage, as flipping is part of the damage calculation and is not an effect done to directly to the Pokemon with the Water and Holon WP energies attached. (Jan 10, 2008 PUI Rules Team)
