Shirley Temple Black died today at the age of 85 of natural causes. She was surrounded by her family. She was a beloved child star and icon of the 1930s known for her singing and tap dancing. Some of her many famous movies include "Curly Top," "Bright Eyes," "Heidi," and so much more. She was also noted as having overcome breast cancer and being a U.S Ambassador to Ghana and Czechoslovakia. She is ranked at 18 on AFI's list of greatest female actresses of all time.
I remember watching her a lot as a child and really enjoyed her shows. She was so cute, talented, and has the best little curls. My grandmother even had collectible drinking glasses of her. She will be missed.
