RULES:

1) Read through every entry.
2) You may not vote for yourself.
3) You may not vote more than once.
4) Voting ends in 1 week.
5) Don't start discussions of "I think Mystery Author is _____".

Ok, so how does this voting work?

Making your vote:

Voting is pretty simple. State the names of your first, second and third favourite story. A favourite will be awarded 3 points, a second awarded 2, and a third awarded 1. After the one week voting period, the authors will be unmasked, and the person with the most points will be declared the winner. : D

I wish you all the best of luck!

The entries:

Mystery Author #1: No title

Mystery Author #2: Silver Winds
Mystery Author #3: Intervention
Mystery Author #4: The Great Overview
Mystery Author #5: Lights, Camera, Action!
Mystery Author #6: A Simple Journey

Get to it guys! If anyone has a last minute entry, PM me and I might be able to cram it in.

I'll vote on this in a couple of days, once I have the chance to read all the entries.

OK,
#1 The Great Overview
#2 A Simple Journey
#3 Lights, Camera, Action

P.S. I really don't like how ash wants to 'get rid of the police force' in the first one, mostly because my dad was a police man

I didn't really like any of the stories that much but I think that these three were the best.

#1 Intervention
#2 Silver Winds
#3 The Great Overview

It was a tough theme, hopefully next time it will be easier and we'll get some more entries

Ok well my votes are as follows
1. Lights Camera Action
2. Intervention
3. The great overview

You said that last time too... you don't seem to like any of the stories in any of the competitions :S

ANYHOW, having said THAT, I'm in a similar position. Most of the stories didn't really do it for me either, because most of them had some form of major grammatical error that really didn't help themselves. If I could only vote for 2, I would, but since there has to be three...

#1 - Lights, Camera, Action!
#2 - Silver Winds
#3 - The Great Overview

The others... either didn't get the grammar right often enough, or didn't excite me enough, or both :S

Yeah, I'm a bit picky, not to say that my stories are a whole lot better :p. And actually, the first competition had some good entries, I really liked that one alot, I think that as the interest in these competition dies down, so does the quality of the stories unfortunately.

1.Lights Camera Action
2. Silver Winds
3. Intervention

Well Daren. Are you entering in the next one? Because this one I missed and I think my writing improved a bit...

Yes, I'm definately entering next one! So, is this one over? i can't wait to know the theme for the next one so I can get started :D

Me too. I've been writing and writing for practice and this time I'll win for sure! btw Daren could you read my new story Alexei. No one ever reads them probably because they aren't pokemon related.... =(

Sure I'll read your story Charidude! Also, it's been awhilpe since this should have officially ended? When do we get to know the winner and the theme for the next contest? I'm so excited!

I will finish the competition this weekend (I was kind of hoping for more votes, which is why I delayed it somewhat. I also want to time this well with the Fakemon Competition).

Too bad the interest in these competitions died down. They could've been really successful. :'(

Competition #1-11 entries
Comp. #2-10 entries
Comp. #3-6 entries.
:I

Ah well.

I also thought I would get more votes (not telling which one I wrote.) I suppose it's all in the eye of the beholder.

Ah well, what are you gonna do? But yeah interest has really gone down... maybe we need, some sort of prize. Like xous or you Scampy or one of the really good artists volunteer to make a hand drawn picture of the book you wrote and then a little medal on it like instead of a caldacot a Pokebeach or something like that.... some people aren't willing to do it for a lace in your sig anymore bacon... although I'm going to do it no matter what.

scampy edit: I don't know what you are talking about :0

Congrats, Daren!

Maybe we could expand on these competitions by giving awards in the awards section of our profile?

Or maybe that was actually what that's for...

Congrats Daren! I wish I could have come up with something a bit better, but at least I got second place that was tied with many people. I think I might join the next one.

It's amazing how much ones vote changed the dynamics of this compo, seeing as how there were only 6 entries. My own vote took me out for ages when I first put it up :p

I thought PMJ was meant to be in this? Or did even he give up on this for now? :(

Personally I found that hard, but for a totally different reason to what most of you were saying. I found this hard because I wrote in first-person, which is something I've never really done before at all. Successfully at least. I'm glad a lot of you voters liked the story...
