Should I Buy Gengar X On EBay Or Just Wait?

I definitely want him and I play Unlimited, so it doesn't matter if I use Japanese cards, as long as I have their translations with me when I play. Is the set far off from the U.S.? I'm a bit impatient and considering buying it on EBay. Thanks, guys!
 
No, it could be fake. It's better to get cards from trustworthy places and people you trust, unless(this goes for getting the cards in person so you can handle them) you can tell the fakes apart from the real cards. Just google "how to tell fake pokemon cards" for some guides!
 
Wow two responses that really didn't do too much for the OP. Yeah I'd say you should buy it. Gengar would be pretty cheap if it is Japanese, and AoA is a good half of a year off in the US.

Thanks, bud! It's definitely not fake and if it's that far off, then I'm going to buy 2. There's 4 available. I just need to find some place that carries that set's Gengar.
 
with foreign cards being banned he won't be able to use it ever after worlds plus its only 4 months we get our next set next month and then this 3 months later
 
HE PLAYS UNLIMITED so it doesn't matter that it's getting banned soon.

BUY IT! It will be cheap, and it would be a huge dissapointment to buy a box, and get all Arceus X's.
 
If you want it to be an investment that you can trade later or sell, then just wait and make a proxy or something.

If you really just want it for fun and don't like the idea of a random proxy card in your deck, then go ahead and buy it.
 
You guys have really helped me make my decision. I don't play in tournaments/leagues. I have several friends that play with me and they don't mind playing Japanese cards, just as long as we can provide translations while we play.

I've bought many cards from that seller, Japanese and English. He's legit. =)
