I officialy stopped the TCG when the Great Encounters set was about to end. I did not quit because of boredom, I wuit because I just forgot half of the time. Also the leauge I went to became dead. When it started you have 20-25 kids. When I left only the veterean 5 came. Even the prerealeases werent big. So I just want to know, is it worth coming back? Has the community gotten better, are the new sets cool? Just give me anything, good or bad.

Who cares about leagues and PR's? I mean, I have no league and I do not really do PR's...the thing is that the TCG is not a team sport and you do it by yourself. I would definately come back.
 
Right now would be the BEST time to come back. Especially with the new set (Stormfront) being released this Sat. PR's and Leagues don't really matter. The only ones I bother to hit up are Battle Roads, and in the future, Cities/Nats/Worlds. If I were you, I definitely would come back.
 
Yeah this season is nice when it comes to making an enterance with any deck of your choice. This isn't like the G&G season which was murder for newer players and older more experienced players alike. I personally don't use leagues as all they do is give you a chance to see the Metagame and work on your decklists (huh that kinda sounds like here...). As for PR's they aren't needed to be a good player. Buying a couple of packs here and there are just as easily done.

What G&G isnt being used anymore?!!!!!!
 
What's really nice is that you can play almost any type of pokemon and have a winning chance. Problem is that even though you have a chance there are dominant decks, but it's still better then GG or Empzong like last season.

Not at all. DRE and Scramble were rotated out so G&G's ability to consistantly bring up another Pokemon was severely weakened.

Blissey-Arcanine, FTW!! I'm trying that deck out... same with Blissey-Infernape. But yes, you should come back. With the stromfront set, they have brought back shinies!! Plus, if less people show up at tournys, the more you win!! :D

Well a new form of GG is going to surface when GC comes out. The Ampharos locks powers and just redefines the game. Which should make things interesting again.
